  • Sodium batteries are already being produced (only in one factory in the US and one in China so far but its a start to commercial production), there's enough of that stuff to build batteries for the entire planet a thousand times over.

  • That's a pretty big assumption though, and even then you can just switch to a new password format that allows for passwords that aren't solvable using mathematical means. e.g. my password is to fill in a picture on 10x10 grid using 10 different colours. There's no mathematical basis to guess my picture and there are more posibilites than there are particles in the observable universe.

  • gives Disney the authority of a county government.

Yo what the fuck this is literally in the plot of both shadowrun and cyberpunk as the beginning of the end for state governance.

  • Tried to force through a budget that brought the UK within hours of a greek style total economic collapse until the bank of England stepped in to unfuck things because it was just going to be that bad if they didn't.

  • I read recently that chickens pass the mirror test but don't really give a damn about their own reflection so the researchers had to use an alternative method to prove it. They found that lone cockerals don't crow because there are no other chickens to alert, they will crow in the presence of even one other chicken but will not crow when left with just their own reflection, implying they know its not another chicken.

  • Not really, Russia spends about as much on its arsenal as the UK while having orders of magnitude more warheads to maintain. Either they have help from the magic nuclear maintenance faeries or only a small portion of their arsenal is still functional.

  • Nah this is hands drawn correctly but not well, AI draws hands well but incorrectly.
(relatively speaking, its still hands drawn better than I can)

Edit: Then again the ears are odd and the black thing vanishing under the clothes is confusing. Normally AI can't understand that objects going behind another object have to come out the other side and this passes that test but it also just looks weird in a way a human wouldn't do.

  • Translation: "We don't listen to well informed input from our longtime employees and customers but we'll train a bot to parrot our own ideas back at us"

Because lets be realistic these bots will be trained on data from MBA graduates not people who actually work in the industries being consulted on.
