  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines tutorial was a good 30 minutes for me the first time I played it. Luckily they give you an option to skip it in subsequent playthroughs, but it covers pretty much everything you need to know for gameplay imo.

  • I am so glad I read this, because I've been thinking about trying out Diablo 2 lol. Looks like when I finally get around to it, I'll be doing a lot of research.

  • That sounds kinda cool actually. When you're hungry and don't know what you want, just walk around until something sounds good!

  • I hadn't been to a mall in a really long time until a friend of mine dragged me to one to kill some time before a thing we had going on later that night. I was surprised how busy it was, and how much it had expanded in terms of content. There were a couple of art galleries and even a little tabletop gaming store with a few people playing Catan. The only area that was kind of deserted was surprisingly the food court, which only had a bubble tea place and a sandwich place open.

  • That definitely sounds like something I should look into, especially since I play on PC as well. Also sounds good for a couple older Xbox games I love that never got ported to PC. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Not if my 360 quits on me and they're not backwards compatible or available with my Xbox One.

  • Man, I knew this day would come, but I hate now that it actually has a date. My 360 is still going strong, and I'm dreading the day it gives out. Yeah, I could just move everything over to my Xbox One, but I'm not even sure all the 360 games I own are backwards compatible.

  • Wow, I only knew some surface level stuff. Thanks for the write up.

  • Depending on what exactly you're looking for, they're probably out there, it's just a matter of finding them, and then hoping there's enough seeders to get it to download. The last thing I went searching for took me nearly a week to find, and then another half week to wait for someone to get online to seed it from, but I was determined lol

  • Yep, I don't torrent that often, and when I do it's usually because something is out of print and all the publicly available scans I can find online are really shitty. The torrents more often than not have pretty decent quality.

  • Man, if the King of the Hill reboot is still in the works, it just won't be the same without the so many great voices that we've lost over the years.

  • Kind of! They're active and passive skills for Resident Evil: Revelations 2's Raid Mode. There's an objective for one character to have all the skills on max level. But, not all the characters have all the skills, so each character with a specific one has to max it out themselves in order to 'give' it to the others. I had to write out who had what in order to keep track of what skill to prioritize for what character. It's been an off and on grind that I've been working on for a while now. I'm pretty sure I have more hours invested in the Raid Mode than the video game's actual campaign lol
I do a lot of handwritten notes when it comes to video games, as you can see from the binder here, and my kitty loves to lay on it whenever I'm playing lt;3

  • Samsung has something similar but using QR codes. You just pull up the code associated with your profile, the other person scans it, and boom, contact added. I'm not sure if it works phone types though. I assume it would.

  • I've been having to start taking showers in the morning because I wake up sweating, and I've only been going outside when I absolutely have to. These triple digits are suffocating me. Like I know I should expect it due to the area I live in, but jesus christ, I can't wait until September.
I had someone earlier today tell me, "Don't worry! We'll be in the low 90s by the end of August!" I don't think that's any better T-T

  • Definitely do play Claire's part! It's not as long, and there are some repetitive parts, but it does add more to the story and introduce some new characters (if you're not already familiar with the original or the franchise in general).

  • I don't quite remember how I played Metro 2033, but I do know that I played so much with Metro Last Light to get that stupid 'kill no humans' achievement that whenever I play it now I can practically zoom through most areas with stealth. Same way with Dishonored. Both great games, I love revisiting them from time to time.

  • I didn't even know this was a thing, and they've already cancelled it.

  • I've mentioned it to a couple friends, especially when they complained about losing their favorite subreddits and comments being deleted, but as far as I know they haven't moved over. I'm not pushy or anything about it though, I just casually drop it in conversation, like "oh I was on kbin today and saw this thing, blah blah blah..."
That being said, we don't follow each other on other types of social media/forums, so why would we here? They'll keep doing whatever they're doing, and I'll be happy here.

  • Oregon Trail on Apple IIGS. I was in elementary school, and those particular Apple computers were already outdated by the time we got a hold of them, but we were from a poor county, and by god it was some great fun. We would have little competitions to see who could get the furthest without having their whole party die.

  • Exactly, I tend to find myself rambling when I don't want to.
