  • Yep. Lots of kids (and parents) only kind of tacitly take part in such activities/groups, because it's something fun to do. They might not buy into very much or even any of the religious part...

  • it’s clear that no one can rely on help or warning from “officials” anymore. everyone needs to get themselves prepared for whatever weather disaster might happen in their area. supplies, bug out bags, escape plans–all of that

This is the Libertarian wet dream.

Every dumbfuck Dale Gribble that distrusted the Big Gubbermint couldn't get normal Americans to buy into their Galt's Gulch bullshit. Now that they've captured the government with the likes of Taco, they are going to FORCE normal Americans to join them in their stupid dystopian fantasies in Galt's Gulch.

We all live in Galt's Gulch now and I guess it's prone to flash floods.

  • Well, the only guarantee is being born on US soil

    Well...for now, anyway. 🤮

I guess I don't know what the process is and how long the ordeal is, but it just seems weird that on top of all the other things one gets to do when thrown into adulthood is that they'd have some arduous process to go through.

I could imagine automatic citizenship like that would cause more problems. Other countries would be like “Hey, we didn’t authorize that!”

Fair. There is the problem of having to revoke it for countries that don't permit dual citizenship, I guess. Maybe if the U.S. at least had a short form they sent out to minors just before they turn 18 and had a simple and quick thing they'd do to file for it. Something that should not take more than a month to get finalized. So maybe not entirely automatic, but very simple and straightforward and quick.

That being said, we have the system we have and this woman should obviously have adhered to the one we have...and also her husband should not be voting for the likes of Taco and she should not be "supporting" Taco, either.

  • LOL, remember how much the qons pretended to be so shook by Obama saying he was going to "fundamentally change America"?

These people are just fine with turning the place into a literal dictatorship, as long as they believe it will hurt a certain set of people more, and as long as they don't have to have a Black guy running the place...so in other words, actually fundamentally changing America into something completely unrecognizable and where any so-called "freedom" is non-existent, and your "rights" are null and void - that is a-ok as long as it is the right kind of "change".

  • This is the kind of scenario I see in my head when one of these asshats say they wanted to "shake things up in Washington". 🙄

It's hard to build a system, even if it's not working 100% perfectly (and no human institution is ever likely to do so). Very hard. It's quite simple to break shit. Any toddler can kick over a sand castle.

But hey, at least we did something about the "status quo", because having a status quo is automatically a bad thing according to a whole lot of fools and dumbasses.

  • Imagine if these ding-a-lings had been able to stand in the way of progress on other fronts - something like, say, the Internet, or smart phones, or...so many other things.

Why they are able to do this on the energy front is so infuriating and stupid.

What enrages me nearly as much as the energy thing is that the effect of so many idiots being able to vote is that they are going to torpedo advances in medical breakthroughs, too. We most likely will have to rely on Europe and China to do anything of note on cancer, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, combating age, etc...that's how stupid all this is.

  • I agree that's a fair point. I just wonder why it's even necessary to go through any extra hoops if you come here as a minor.

  • Well, time to exact some "retribution" against those officials that are questioning the god-emperor Taco.

  • Especially with the awful bill the cons just passed. They actually worked to intentionally kneecap wind and solar while subsidizing coal. That's how fucked up this timeline is.

  • I am sure the magamushbrains would only read something like this and think: "how can we get Taco to have these scientists unemployed"?

  • Harumph. That was because something something Biden and "old technology", obvs.

Team Taco is only trying to make things more "efficient" and get rid of the (repeat after me, in a mindless drone), "waste, fraud, and abuse"! Team Taco is only trying to clean up the mess of the Biden administration who was letting this go on for far too long and was the worst President in history with the worst economy ever [1], yadda yadda. We should all be thanking Taco right now for his glorious plans for our future...

[1] Which Taco is going to keep repeating forever even if we could see the economic data ourselves under Biden. It's about repeating the big lie over and over and over. Sadly, many on the left help him in this...

  • Like I keep saying, the cons are very weird and are very keen on the baby talk (meaningless and completely undefined googoo/gaagaa words like "maga", "maha", "big beautiful bill", and just about everything out of Taco's mouth on virtually any topic), although "big bomb" is just being kind of bombastic in my view and is less baby talk.

  • When are they going to release all the information?

  • Well, I don't think they are as responsible ( I think that gets too close to DARVO stuff - the Republicans keep setting out to break government, destroy everything good that has been done and hand a lot of money to the already uber-wealthy and the Democrats do a terrible job at stopping them - it's almost like an abused partner in a very toxic household being blamed for the offender), but they certainly look like a bunch of Neville Chamberlains.

They were certainly not the leadership we needed in 2021 when it came to dealing with these criminals and these terrorists that have taken root in our country.

  • I guess this is what I'm trying to convey - remember that even the Nazis did not go full Nazi immediately. It was incremental.

Let's say these camps end up killing some fraction of men, "accidentally", and possibly ramp up to more intentional things, like working people to death and even worse. At some point, the monsters are going to look around and still see "undesirables" in the remaining family members...meaning pregnant women and children.

They can inch things along as far as the circle of concern goes. The minute someone does the, "well, but it's men, and of course we wouldn't do this to pregnant women and children!" I cannot help but wonder where this is going...especially once all the men are "deported" or put into these camps. Where does the rest of their family go, anyway? Who is providing for them? If their provider was kidnapped and imprisoned, it's not like these vulnerable people are going to have their lives enriched even if they are not being put in concentration camps...

  • I for one am glad that at least some on the right are still reachable on this matter.

But if they were okay with subjecting men they deem less than to this, it's still rather alarming, since it's not that much of a leap to then pushing pregnant women and children into the same conditions, if they are considered part of the same group.

  • Yes, it's a hard needle to thread. My point is that it's pretty fucked up in my view that it's considered unfortunate, but maybe "okay", with some if it's younger men being sent to such a place and held under such conditions, because, well, it's men. And that the only thing that might wake up some portion of the people is if women and children go there, and then some glimmer of humanity sparks in them...SMH.

It's not as if some men might have some preconditions that make them vulnerable under such conditions. Something tells me the monsters running this are not prescreening for any of that, because they are dangerous brown men....
