  • I remember that dipshit Michele Bachmann stating that the Earth couldn't get hotter, because Jebus.

She sure sounds like a Bible belt dipshit, but she was repping Minnesota...

  • Agreed; the system is now so completely inverted and has been for a while. The extremely wealthy can actually afford to have huge families and not suffer a huge setback in quality of life.

In agrarian societies where having more help around the farm was relatively cheaply done by having more babies, the poor would often have very large families. If most people are living in and near cities and very, very few have anything to do with farming, the cost per child is much different. People in the middle class that push children past something like 5 or so are almost guaranteed to be treading water or backwards, economically.

  • Well, just wait until the likes of Bannon and Stephen Miller have Taco create the American Lebensborn.

  • At least get Hunter's dong in the Congressional record.

  • Yeah, in the case of Clinton, it was mostly about a stain on a dress, and everything else was one gigantic nothingburger, in spite of all the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy's efforts to make it otherwise...

The proto-qons and the proto-teabaggers (in their pupa phase between Bircher and teabagger/qanon nut) lost their fuckin' minds over both of the Clintons. Hillary drove them absolutely apeshit with being the stand-in for every 60s feminist they had hated for decades up to that point, and mostly because she did a bit more than just arrange flowers and have other women over for tea and meaningless meetings at the WH. And Bill drove them nuts for getting a blowjob.

It still makes me chuckle to think about how some of them got so grrr mad that Bill couldn't be removed for getting some lollipop love from Monica. One of them was huffing about this and squealed - "but Bill is MARRIED! This is infidelity!" I asked, "yeah, but is it illegal?" I've never seen one of these type look so impotent in my life when he sagged into his chair, red-faced with rage, and quietly said...."no".

  • Depends on what "we" means. I didn't vote for this shit and do not deserve any of this.

Same for those too young to vote, etc...as for Republicans and those that stayed home or voted a protest vote because the Democrats did not give them a pretty, pretty pony, well....

  • Here we go again, more market manipulation, I guess.

  • 100% that last panel. Also, to really complete the DARVO effect, it could use a few third parties popping up to represent the Elevated Centrists, the "independents", the "liberal media", and a certain kind of "leftist" that like to blame the Democrats for not stopping the Republicans doing all the awful shit they get up to...

  • Cool, as long as they don't mess with my Ivermectin supply.

  • "Now is not the time to make this political"

-every single qon voter and politician

  • Probably cheap eggs is part of it. But yeah, the same type of dumbass was talking about getting everyone back to work - again, about the money and because they had a vision in their heads of 20-somethings all staying home and playing video games on the taxpayer dime, or not under the safe watchful eye of some mid-level manager in a cubicle farm or something. The work from home thing drove them crazzzzzzy(ier) - complaining about any sensible measures like social distancing, masks, and vaccines. The same type of dumbass was talking about how "everyone was going to get it" and that the "clot shot" was going to kill everyone and we should just all live our lives as normal.

I suspect a major part of the ideology is also the constant undercurrent in this country, and that's general anti-intellectualism and hatred of real expertise and the actual experts that have it. So we have lots of people "doing their own research", like Brainworms.

  • They are highly selective. Fuck that red letter shit, I want to hate my fellow human beings, where are those passages? Also, I'll ignore all the dietary laws because something something "new covenant".

    LOL.

  • I mean, what's the big deal? The church (theirs of course) and the State were never supposed to actually be separate in a secular nation with something as clear as the First Amendment. The Founders with the likes of Jefferson who had a tenuous relationship with xtianity so very obvs meant this place to be JESUSLAND.

Also, it'd be the STATE doing the murdering, you guys! It'd be a righteous and lawful murdering, because Jebus.

  • Yep. Let's check his fridge, freezer, basement, phone, Google search history and hard drive(s), stat.

  • Watch The God Who Wasn't There - there is some guy calmly talking about murdering gays - but it's okay, because it would be the state doing it (in the trailer below).

This shit has been simmering under the surface for decades upon decades. This is why you cannot have xtians running around and saying this is a "xtian country", because eventually enough get it in their heads that it really is one and they'll set about having government infected with their crazy bullshit and telling us how to live our lives (or not live our lives at all if you are born "wrong").

I don't think people really understand when I tell them that cons are not really patriots and don't really love this country like normal Americans do. They want to turn it into something else that is the very opposite of what America is supposed to stand for.
