My Telkomsel SIM card gets multiple offers and promo messages daily from the carrier with a few different numbers. They're all legitimate links but it's getting really annoying lol.
I have online banking and usually keep around $50-100 at a time on the card, and receive notifications as soon as a charge (or an attempt to) comes through.
First proper road trip with my wife today. A round trip to Wonga Park. It has some rdr2 vibes to it.
Trip was mostly uneventful, apart from being tailgated by utes and SUVs most of the return trip, and then drove around in circles for 15 minutes looking for a parking space after some muppet decided to illegally park their Mercedes in the rental car's permit zone spot.
Saw a post about the police drug and booze checkpoint.
I rarely drink, never done drugs, let alone while driving. But I low-key want to get tested just to see what it's like, considering that in the past 4 years, I've driven past three of these checkpoints without getting pulled over, but have witnessed being pulled over as a passenger every time lol.
Did my first ever trip (as captain in a 4-wheeled vessel) with my wife tonight. 60km round trip to Burwood and back.
Uneventful, except the construction muppets on the city-bound Eastern Freeway decided, in a space of 2km, to put up an 80, then 40, then 100, then 80, then 40 sign again before actually encountering any road work. Other road muppets simply ignore it and blazed past at 80 in the adjacent lane.
If you got a dashcam, just block the road and force them to reverse.
If they choose to respond with violence, just close the doors and windows, keeping the camera rolling, while you just sit there giving them the death stare, without saying anything. See if this also baits them into a assault charge as well while you're at it.
Then send it to Dashcam Owners Australia to be published for all to see.
So follow on from the previous car rental post, now looking between GoGet (higher cost but seems better reputation) and Popcar (smaller and lower cost, has some positive reviews but a bit bare/lower on recent reviews). Both have cars near me.
Dropped Uber Carshare because of the ethics, and Flexicar (applied then withdrew) because the app store app is full of negative reviews, like 1 star lol.
Amen.
