You'd be surprised how stupid people can be, especially with some sort of blinders on.

Money, sex, love... All things people go after without necessarily looking at the whole picture.

I left a better baying job that was more inline with my skill set and would have been a career step forward.

That being said, due to that job, that I left over a year ago, I still have PTSD like reactions to certain stimuli that I was overwhelmed with at that job.

Not worth the extra money.

From an American point of view, HIV treatment would absolutely ruin my life, both from the obvious health perspective, but financially.

Bankrupt, homeless, sick as a dog... I could easily see someone taking their own life in that scenario.

Is the medicine there? Sure. If you're rich.

Hell, South Park did an episode that made the cure for HIV just be money, because that is certainly a requirement, at least here.

Man I did, but they were hockey skates (ice was not a thing here at the time) and I wanted to get every ounce of performance out of them.

I know a little linux, but obviously I'm still learning. I've picked up everything I know on my own, for the most part - internet guides from the linux community tend to be pretty solid, and I know enough to not totally FUBAR my system.

This entails the person falsely believing they had a seizure. In fact, their movement, mental state, etc, can mimic an actual ictal event.

Often stress and anxiety are at least part of the issue, if not the leading cause.

However, they can be differentiated by EEG.

Source: I support medical staff in hospitals and deal with all sorts of information, my wife is an EEG technician, and oh yeah, I'm epileptic myself. I've seen most of the viewpoints surrounding seizures.

I've never heard of this term before. I assume its more horrible than it sounds, and I'll regret asking this, but what exactly is that?

In some communities there is a distrust because the government, under the guise of medicine, performed human testing without even informing the patients/victims of what was going on, or outright lying to them.

I feel like every beverage containing caffeine should have its total content labeled.

Not because I'm sensitive or anything, I just need the biggest dose I can find in the morning.

Then again, I've been addicted to caffeine since child hood. I quit once, it was thought to be disturbing my sleep; NOPE! Just bipolar mania fucking it up.

If anyone is concerned, I'm on meds and doing well - I still might stab someone in the morning over getting in the way of caffeine though.
