  • It’s been a while so idk if you remember, but as soon as I realized what you meant I immediately owned up to my mistake. This was from one of the last comments I made to you back then:

I’m not trying to be disingenuous, it genuinely sounded like you didn’t realize, that’s my bad.

I thought you meant something that you didn’t. The second I realized, I admitted that I was at fault. I fucked up there, and I’m sorry for that.

  • Mine never does unless I actively focus on it, like through meditation. But it’s still me lol, the alternative is what’s called schizophrenia.

  • Like I pointed out in the mugging example, it’s entirely optional. It can just get out of hand sometimes lol.

I say that as someone with an extremely active internal monologue.

  • I mean that’s the same as anyone. When people talk about their inner voice, the voice is still them. They’re in control of what it says. It can get a little out of hand sometimes (like getting a song stuck in your head) but ultimately it’s you doing it.

Same with being able to “leap ahead” faster than the spoken word. Like, if someone gets a knife pulled on them they don’t have to think “I will run now”, they simply run. The internal monologue is an addition, not a replacement, if that makes sense.

  • So like… how do you think through ideas? Philosophize? You don’t bounce ideas around in your head and deeply weigh multiple options? It’s just… empty?

  • “I’ve never experienced it so you must just be imagining it” pretty much describes the conflict of every issue out there, from race to mental illness. Hell, even things like homelessness.

  • If you liked Fallout 1 and 2 you’ll probably like NV too. It has a far slower pace than 3, and has a much bigger emphasis on writing and player choice than 3 and 4.

I could never get into 3 or 4 personally, but have always loved 1, 2, and NV.

  • But even just the fact that we’ve never once heard of him until this entry, and suddenly we’re getting loads of backstory, makes the “reveal” comically obvious.

  • It has its issues for sure, but the gameplay certainly isn’t one of them (barring the tank sections). I recently played all four games back to back and Knight has by far the most responsive and fluid combat in the series.

Imo the problems are the tank sections, and the story. Overall the story isn’t terrible or anything, but…

  • How Can You Be Sure?

  • They’ll “support” it as long as it doesn’t inconvenience them in any way, shape, or form.

  • "Law enforcement simply stood at the edge of the lawn and refused to budge as we screamed for their help," UC Divest at LA, a group involved in the encampment, said in a statement.

    Fucking disgusting

  • I know I’m weird but that sounds like heaven to me.

  • When I was in high school my roommate insisted on opening the windows and putting a box fan in them, cranking it to full blast. We’d go to sleep fully dressed lol.

I hated it at first, but honestly, I kind of grew to love it.

  • Nah man, rain is beautiful. It sounds amazing, makes everything look amazing, and makes the world look so much more vibrant afterwards.

If it rained two or three times a week until the end of time I’d be the happiest man alive.

  • Wtf is alpha bay? Is that a trap clear web site for dumbasses or something?

  • In Windows 11 it saves every text file you open as a new tab, so every time you open a text file you’ll have tabs upon tabs of every previous text file you’ve ever opened.

Here’s a Reddit post with some people talking about how to disable it, how frustrating it is, and even how it’s causing problems by straight up opening the wrong file if it’s named the same as a text file you’ve opened in the past.

  • Notepad is horrible now, how tf do you mess that up??
