I thought Tesla was an AI company first, why would they invest in a competitor? Or are they not, and they need to get their AI from xAI in which case what's the point of Tesla, again?

Guess the obvious solution would be to combine all verticals into "X, the everything company"?

It's straight up too simple of an issue. Trump has only flexed how much power he holds since taking office. The entire government is bending to his will. The party ran on transparency and releasing these files was a cornerstone of it.

It's as cut and dry as it gets with no nuance or politics or trailing consequences to consider. Even a child could see through the lie. He'd probably have better luck saying the deep state is sabotaging it's release, but then he has to admit he's not in complete control.
