Will Trump's trade war finally start affecting US inflation?

  • The nukes were in Ukraine, but the launch codes and control of them were in Moscow. Also Ukraine were in no position financially to keep them. Getting rid of them were the best option for Ukraine at the time.

The fact that the Americans voted for a demented felon who appointed Kegsbreath the alcoholic is the real problem.

  • She did give away a lot of money to charity. About 16% of her wealth when she became a billionaire iirc. Gave to help children in poverty and to fight the disease MS.

I don't know much about her stance on trans people other than she seems to believe that there is a difference between trans and biological women. Feel free to drop a good link where I can educate myself.

Anyway, reading comments here make it sound like she's a modern day Hitler that's never done anything good in her life, and that sounds both unfair and untrue.

  • Freedom of Movement (FoM) has worked out pretty well for the EU, especially well before the enlargement. The tensions came with the inclusion of the old "eastern bloc" countries where there was a rather large disparity between them and the richer west. I'm generally in favour of FoM, but I also recognise that with a big difference in standards there will be some issues.

So yes, FoM works, but there has to be rules attached. The UK didn't apply most of the rules they could have, which eventually led to a perception that FoM is bad, and then Brexit.

  • Where are these open borders you speak of?

In the EU. You're free to move to any member country to live and work there.

Then we had brexit, and as huge part of that was the "freedom of movement" in the EU. The British didn't like "Polish plumbers" coming to the UK.

  • I think that's just the nature of the fediverse. But yeah, I'd prefer a built in search that would search through most/all instances. Not sure how that'd work though.

Sepia is the best I've found so far.

  • People not being helped in their own countries migrate to richer countries to improve their lives, by whatever means they can.

Is Donald Cunt trying to increase migration?
