  • I bought a Brother LH-23200 monochrome laser printer in 2016. The only times it has failed to print it's either been out of paper or the toner ran out. The toner lasts forever. And a box of four toner cartridges costs $26. It's the Toyota Hilux of printers.

  • I'd almost like to hear what an officer from another department thinks about these guys. Because you know that the next group to stand outside and wet themselves is going to get overrun by concerned parents. Or someone will distract them while parents go inside.

  • I bought a Brother LH-23200 monochrome laser printer in 2016. I bought four toner cartridges for $30 when the first one ran out a few months ago. The only time it has failed to print is when my daughter stole the last sheets of paper from the tray to make drawings.

  • I recently started using Doordash.

My mother in law doesn't see that well. She lives in an apartment about 30 miles/48 km away. She is able to get around her apartment, and do things like take showers and use the bathroom, but she doesn't see well enough to cook, and wasn't ever any good at cooking anyway. She is supposed to have another family member living with her and making sure she gets fed, but said family member is too interested in doing drugs and chasing men.

So I've been sending doordash to her apartment for lunch when Im at work, along with leaving simple food she can prepare by herself. The wife and I are working on getting her into an assisted living facility. She doesn't need a nursing home, she needs people to talk to and a place where she can eat.

It's really handy for people who need food, but for some reason aren't able to go get it. Thankfully this situation is temporary for me.

  • Super strength is something I could see being problematic.

The movies always show the super strong hero picking up buses or trains with one hand, but in reality you have to lift such vehicles in specific places, or they will be damaged. Youtube is full of videos depicting cars falling from mechanic's lifts due to improper lift point placement, or just old fasioned rust. Imagine Mr. Incredible going to pick up a bus in a state where the roads are salted, and just breaking off a handful of the frame.
