I have DOS2 on my wishlist, I guess I just need to buy it.

When my little 4-cylinder truck wore out in 2021, I looked so hard for one of the little kei trucks. But all of the ones I could find were $20k, or they were $15k and needed a lot of work to be driveable. And none of them were within 200 miles of my location.

I ended up with a used base-model F150 which only cost me $12k. It had 81k miles on it. As near as I can figure out, it started life as a rental truck for a hardware store called "Menards". It has an 8ft bed, no carpet, no power locks, no power windows, no back seat, no touchscreen, and no color LCD screen in the gauge cluster. I use this truck for a small farm that my wife and I run, so it doesn't get driven every day.

Im still looking for a kei truck, though.

Heated seats use a heating element which just needs power and ground. They can't encrypt that.

I have a Samurai of Theseus.

But, My wife drives a 2017 Mirage G4 with a 5 speed, and we are going to keep that thing alive however we can. And it's fairly easy, because the Mirage is very simple and is made to be easy to repair.

Not a car, but you can buy a new Suzuki DR650 that has a carburetor. At least in 2023.

Because it's election day in 2024. Plan to take the day off, plan to spend the day voting. It's difficult now, but going to work or staying home will not make voting easier.

Let's not also forget if Trump was in charge then this situation would've been handled a lot less gracefully. Or even spiral out of control.

The big difference is, very few people chain-smoke marijuana.

I'm a mechanical draftsman. The parts I model keep huge installations, that society depends on, functioning. And a few times a week, I get nice and high with the wife. I've known entirely too many functional stoners, it's so common that I would almost say everyone knows one somewhere.
