NGL, D.A.R.E. did a number on me. I don't think I would try shrooms.
I had a THC gummy once, and I don't recall it doing anything to me. I was also loaded up on anti-histamines at the time, and my friend said that may have stopped any high or euphoria from it.
Honestly, operation paperclip doesn't even make it into the top 10.
Consider this, we could have put them on trial, but they were low down enough to get some jail time and then get sent back to Germany at worst. We could have let the Russian have them, or we could have just executed them. All in, bringing them here and using their expertise isn't the worst thing.
Yeah! Arbitrarily make one of those ends USB-B, then require it for nearly every damn printer in existence and don't include the cable with the product.
Yes, I am aware that those are all separate decisions made by different assholes.
Totally not going to judge you for showing empathy to animals. My MiL has gone full cat hoarder. House smells like cat shit, there is a thick layer of cat fur on everything, there are multiple pukes or turds in every room of the house. If you can't manage it, then that's the problem. She has no real plans to downsize, no limits on the number of cats she's willing to take in. Ultimately, if she doesn't change, then when she has an accident or becomes unable to care for them, then they will most likely go to a shelter, and the shelter is probably going to dispatch of them, since taking 9 indoor and 20 or so outdoor cats at once is unfeasible for them to maintain and adopt out.
Metro 2033. Played it in the dark with good surround sound headphones on, and it's positively claustrophobic.
Last Light is good too, but at little too optimistic IMHO. 2033 nails that endless pit of despair feeling, with just enough lucky breaks that you might make it through.
Tremors 2 is peak cinema IMHO. I only wish they had spent a little more on the CGI, or replaced it all with practical effects.
