That's hilarious, actually pretty recently I "caused" a line stop because a marker feature (for visuals at assembly, so pretty meaningless dimension overall) was very much over dimensioned (we talking depth, rad, width, location from step) and to top it off instead of a spot drill just doing a .01 plunge they interpolated it! (Why I have zero clue). So it was leaving dwell marks for at least the past 10 months and because it was over dimensioned it all of them had to be put on hold because DOD demands perfection (aircraft engine parts)
I went out for dinner with an ex. They asked if we could do something since they have been having a rough go of is as of late. Good fun, plenty of conversation, the meal was okay at best but we tried some new foods and pretty much called it a night there
"Revita" is a game I play when I get distraught. It's a game that focuses on the stages of grief and is a somber game. It comes with a warning regarding the themes and messages of the game.
Hmmm, well all encompassing would be something like omnipotent and panacea which most people know. To be more accurate it conveys something specific, clearly, in less words. I.E. "Draggle" - to drag through dirt and mud. As opposed to just "drag" -to be pulled along the ground. "Brontide" - a storm off in the distance. "Bombilate" -a soft buzzing noise, "Quiescent" -inactivity, at rest, akin to tranquility. ( these definitions are not verbatim, just from memory)
The problem I always have with using words like that is people always take you as arrogant, know it all, or pompous. Also, ironically, it saves no time because on order for it to be effective the other person needs to know and understand the word to get the meaning
laconically.
So I rarely use the words except as "hey fun fact" stuff
I've fallen out of most of my hyperfixations (yay depression) but I used to be really into:
-Words, I loved the idea you could express entire and specific meanings with a single word
-Gemstones and their mythology. More around what people used to believe and cultures rather than current day "crystal" stuff. Also, they are mad pretty
-Chemistry, I used to do backyard chemistry and loved the feeling of alchemical-like hands on stuff. chemistry feels like magic!
-Plants/Toxins/Toxic animals, what more do I gotta say? Nature is metal AF and don't give AF. It's wild the solutions it generates and how humans use them or adapt them.
I can do that, I was envious of a family member who could do it when I was young and somehow taught myself to be able to do it. Though I always called it "vibrating my eyes". I can't maintain it indefinitely unfortunately
That depends on what you consider a choice, "Steal food or starve to death", "Be in debt or kill yourself" are "choices" too but they are a far cry from a rational, realistic choice. The way you phrase it made it seem like any choice of crime, no matter how ridiculous the alternative is, a fault of the person.
If that is the case, I would have to disagree. Sometimes it is truly the fault of the society for not Providing any rational alternatives or ways to attain it without crime. The two primary choices that come to mind are food and medicine.
Well good thing I strongly dislike my name and it's usage. I've actually have had to tell some friends specifically not to use my name. I'm impervious to being more socially connected to people!
