I don't think that was the majority opinion, but the concurring opinion. The majority was party lines and stated that no, federal Court is also not enough, only action by congress will count.
Looking more into it that's true. But we are talking about a little under 3 inches instead of 1. I may argue it's maybe more fair to say that 1 inch is a bit small instead of 1 metre being a bit much. A factor of under 3 compared to over 10. It's even more striking when we are talking about diameter and not area. The point is that the advanced technology to do this, is a commercial freight ship with an anchor, not godzilla. That's the tech to do it accidentally, as it sometimes happens.
I've heard that before, but it doesn't make sense to me. They had those mountains for napoleon, ww1 and ww2. They lost ww1, and napoleon and hitler blew right past the mountains. They had to be stopped pretty deep into russia. It sounds like an excuse to me. Their borders clearly have been protected by nuclear weapons. Unless they are whipping up fear of illegal immigration from Ukraine, I don't understand why those concerns exist. No one really talked about going after them in the territory they controlled 3 years ago.
If they didn't do it intentionally. One of the theories is that the ship they sank dragged its anchor across the cables. It can't really be confirmed until the evidence has been collected, but it sounds plausible.
Where are you getting metre thick from? I'm seeing that modern cables tend to be around 1 inch. Maybe these are special cables, but I don't see that. These things get cut by anchors sometimes. I could imagine what it would be like to get snagged on 4 metre thick wires. Some of them aren't even that deep. Some divers tried cutting wires near egypt 10 years ago.
How are Russia's borders not secure? Have they been suffering from incursions from a neighbor? Or did the lebensraum come first and the new border is not secure?
No it's not. But are you referring even a little to the 3000 "russian" civilians from the start of the conflict in 2014? Where 2500 died in Ukrainian government controlled land. I bet the Ukrainian government was shelling their own side right? Besides the fact that the Ukrainians have considered all those civilians their own citizens. I guess when separatists kill civilians its not on them.
I've been thinking of them as antichristian. Not as in against Christianity, but as in antichrist ...ian. From what I've heard the whole idea of the antichrist is supposed to be that Christians love the guy even though the guy goes against all of the lessons of Jesus, but he does the performative stuff. That sounds like what I see there.
Well this character's name is Jill, and I believe she's from Va-11 hall-a, which is a very good cyberpunk bartenders game. I wouldn't think that would ruin most people's days though.
