This is oddly comforting. So many websites and opinion articles push the idea of painstakingly tailoring a resume, then hunting down the listing on the website and re-filling in that same resume twice.

On top of that they make you feel like you’re the problem when that doesn’t work and you’ve wasted three hours of your time to maybe get rejected six weeks later.

Thank you for being honest. This will save a lot of time and stress going forward. /gen

It’s possible this was both gross negligence of national security and an attempt to entrap the journalist into being a leaker/whistleblower; creating a convenient excuse to target Goldberg and disappear him to El Salvador.

I have met him in the past, and though I didn’t find it particularly strange that he might be reaching out to me, I did think it somewhat unusual, given the Trump administration’s contentious relationship with journalists—and Trump’s periodic fixation on me specifically.[…] It is not at all uncommon these days for nefarious actors to try to induce journalists to share information that could be used against them.

Cattails: Wildwood Story but I have also played Cat Quest 2 and it was very good!

I’m still convinced this poor kid is a patsy because NYPD was facing down a riot, or worse (for them), for the blatant classism in their investigation efforts.

Unfortunately much of the public has given Luigi credit/deemed him “guilty” out of a need for ideological symbolism and an outlet to express frustration.

The Room (2003)

Decided to do a replay of Cattails: Wildwood Story in between my Balatro runs.

The former is pretty cute, fairly low stakes adventure/exploration game. Once you befriend the cats in your colony town you can start taking them along as adventure companions too, which is helpful especially in the mining areas.

Nothing promotes healing quite like having to trek out, expose yourself to more germs and stress over a f@&!ing piece of paper. /s

Wasn’t my cup of tea personally but off top of my head the US sitcom The Middle is pretty solidly working-class focused, or at least from what I remember. Also thank you for putting this to words, I feel the same way.

This is exactly why I hated live-action Disney Channel and Nickelodeon shows/movies growing up in the 2000s starting with Hannah Montana.

I was never able to articulate why I was repulsed by those series and was considered a contrarian little weirdo, lol. /rant

Same. I like outdoor heat quite a bit as well so summer is the time of year where there’s no physical pain and lots of opportunity for leisurely exercise.
