I would sure hope the show has depth at over 1000 episodes. I can't imagine anything else they would be doing besides plotting out every detail of the characters lives. I would like to think by the end of it you know these characters better than you know yourself by the amount of back story.
If that is not the case, I can't imagine what the plots could be about.
In all reality though, I don't know if children could handle the thought of ever impending death. Climate change wears on me now and we have a few years before things to start getting too deadly. Having the belief that there is safety when death is guaranteed isn't the worst thing. Like telling someone they are going to be okay when they clearly are not going to survive. They are already going to die, why scare them if there is no benefit to doing so? Ignorance really is bliss.
They can pop up anywhere. Terrorism occurs when extremists of any type had enough of whatever they are upset about and it pushes them over the edge. Whether it is reasonable or not. Regular people can also be pushed to do terrible things with just the right amount of propaganda and other emotional manipulation. Some people just enjoy it.
Believing it cannot happen to you too with enough pressure and lies is wrong.
I am all for the protection of the environment and sacred ground, but if doing so helps prevent our and other creatures extinction, I am willing to look the other way.
Whether this actually does that is yet to be seen and verified as worth it.
I would imagine if it does happen, there will be another reddit style migration. The pissed off leave and everyone who doesn't care or aren't upset enough stays.
I mean, they already advertise in the operating system, is it really that far of a stretch? Shareholders have to squeeze that rock as much as they can.
Kinda makes you wonder if future archeologists would know the difference between the jokes being jokes about chuck Norris vs us believing he was a god that we worshipped. Maybe that's all mythology is, some running gags that everyone took seriously.
Well I won't argue that you were incorrect. I do have hoarder tendencies and I "manage" that by keeping it only digital. That being said, I think my point still stands because despite my more ridiculous examples this does still happen.
Lost classic TV show episodes that were thought lost to time are found again because of hoarders. Historical data on towns are kept by the person who has never thrown out a newspaper. Hoarding is bad, but it does prove to be useful on rare occasions. The fine line is saving potential chunks of history vs a stack of pizza boxes because they may have a use one day as storage.
You may take a hard no on the matter because of what you have dealt with what your mother is going through, but I argue there is some specific things worth saving.
