Aerogard heavy duty 40% deet picked up yesterday. Not cheap though. 150g 20$ did about 3sqmExhibit A. 1 minute after exposure:B. 45 minutes later (!)Also lemons (they don't deserve DOOOM)I think I'm honestly sold on this idea.
Have a safe trip! You've inspired me to look more closely for shells on the beach. All I've ever found is seaweed and rocks lol.
lol just reading on the other place gardeningaustralia someone battling oxalis. I'm not telling them my instruments of DOOOOOM!Funnily enough the biggest sustainable doom instrument is just mulch heh.e: that's not to say I'm not struggling too, running around the place w/ insecticide is weird.
It actually worked well lol. Idea was to do the sausage roll in the oven normally, then give it a once over with the torch. This thing has honestly been more useful on food than weeds heh.
Season 1, ep 03 of 'please put the weed burner thing down'.A sausage roll with little chillies and sriracha
Exhibit A. Healthy untreated oxalis:And B. Exposure to aerogard after 15hrs:Note how the horizontal banksia gave no fucks even though there was a bit of drift. Conclusion: I think I'm going to be buying more aerogard. Problem is it's not really the cheapest stuff.
can you actually kill it?Tbh probably not lol :(The weed burner for me (this one at least) is sort of half way between pointless and maybe effective-ish sometimes. Safety wise no issues yet but I'd be hesitant using it in summer in the garden. Paths maybe but not on mulch.
Lonny sea wall doing its thing:There was a poor doggo that a couple was walking on the foreshore just as that wave hit and the little thing wasn't very impressed.
Instruments of oxalis DOOOOMProbably shouldn't have had the aerogard so close the weed burn thing lol.
oooh!
