  • You're welcome! It might be worth it for say, I dunno. $300? But $600...

I'm waiting on Firewall to come out for PSVR2. Personally that was a reason for using the first PSVR, and the second one should be a LOT better without having to deal with tracking issues due to Move controller/PS4 camera.

  • I’ve learned that everyone is different. There ain’t no normal, and regardless you never know what someone is going through at any given time. Keeping this in mind is key when interacting with anyone!

  • It’s a waste of $600. Don’t get me wrong, it’s neat, but until VR has a form factor of like, swimming goggles, it sucks wearing a headset.

I will say that it offers the very best racing experience you’re going to get out of Gran Turismo 7, especially if you have a racing wheel.

  • It helps with stressful situations. I do customer service these days and making the customer feel like everything is going to be okay despite everything clearly NOT being okay. Focusing on what they’re saying and the issue at hand and not on the emotional part of the situation is key to success.

  • Why sex? Why not just “that’s 3k don’t even think about it—“

  • I wonder if a Mad Max sequel will focus on solar powered combat cars that struggle to cross vast distances under radioactive clouds…

  • I certainly feel this is the case if I try to argue with someone, particularly in a group with one person convinced of a falsehood and others in varying positions of certainty. And god help you if you concede any point due to lack of info or doubt, which just makes you look weak rather than thoughtful.

  • I haven’t seen those films yet. I’ve heard they good too.

  • I mean, it’s also great that we’re not leaving behind offspring to have progressively poorer lives until it’s just Event Horizon: Earth.

  • A toast to everyone in this thread that decided to not have kids! 🥂

  • I am not sharing a 3k device with anyone :) No one wears my $600 PSVR2, including myself. 😑

  • Going through a Fine Arts program we had to constantly do critiques of our work--with our peers (practically kids) saying whatever they wanted to about what we spent the past weeks or month working on. Some were nice, others were not, but the process helped us think critically about what was being said while becoming largely immune to how it was presented.

This has helped in other ways including being in leadership roles where you have to listen to negative feedback from team members that often have good points but share them with a bad attitude.

  • So you're saying the other wide argues by contradicting, responding to tone, using ad hominem attacks, and name-calling? 🤓

  • The perception for me and maybe others is, I'll drive somewhere and not be able to charge my vehicle unless I'm at home. That said, if a battery can last fricken 700 miles it's a moot concern.

  • I'd be down for that. I'm sure it'd be called socialism though and we'd be stuck with the traditional gatekeepers. 🙄

  • I’m just enjoying the ride. Not concerned about wasting time or achievement. Kudos to those who strive to make a difference. I’m just happy to be here!
