  • ...lewdly threatening him with a lie detector test.

Lewdly? I wouldn't call threatening to, hook someone up to a "fucking" polygraph, lewd. I mean, unless they have some really freaky polygraphs at the pentagon made for really hardcore games of Truth of Dare.

  • The DNC version of neutrality is blocking progressives. Sure they'll happily codify a rule that Hogg cannot help young progressives primary incumbents election while pretending it's about actually neutrality and letting the voters choose. But they'll be just as happy to throw that rule out when they want to support some Republican in sheep's clothing to kick out a progressive next time around.

  • ...i wonder about the use scenario for all these weapons you guys own and i do not understand why besides having a fetish for weapons.

The vast majority of guns are owned by people who lean far, far right. The use scenario for most of them is a fantastical case where strangers with dark complexions threaten their homes and families and they suddenly turn into Rambo or the Punisher and then shoot all the bad guys.

Of course this never happens because these very people are honestly cowards who are too scared to go to the grocery store with their weapon. If something really dangerous happens you'd better not be between them and the nearest exit because they will shoot you if you block them while they're running away. Well, unless you're armed. In that case, they'll run from you too.

  • Video uploaded to social media by Students Allied for Freedom and Equality, a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter, showed officers battering down the door to a Ypsilanti house before others rushed into the home barking commands with guns drawn and pointed at the residents.

"No search warrant was provided," someone says in the video as the invaders crashed through the homes' locked front door. People in the house said their phones and other electronic devices and possessions, including vehicles, were taken.

Um, a vandalism probe? Really? Smashing into homes with guns drawn, seizing electronic devices and other private property, all over a vandalism probe? That comes nowhere near passing the smell test.

  • Disagree. Every chat you are in should have a visible notification about how many linked devices are copied in the chat. The app is supposed to be about security, isn't it? It's a pretty big weakness in my opinion.

  • Right now Spain is a lot warmer because of an Ocean current that brings warm water up to Europe. For as long as that current holds up, Spain will have a lot nicer climate. Once the current collapses, though, Spain and the rest of Europe will get a lot colder.

  • The guy is a moron. He's clearly demonstrated that he has no concept of information security on multiple occasions. For more than a year, it has been known the Signal has a weakness that Russia and others have been exploiting.

It's really pretty simple. The hackers send a phishing email or text to the target with a specially crafted QR code. If the user is dumb enough to scan the code, and we all know Hegseth is dumb enough, then the hacker's device will from then on be linked with the target users device and get a copy of every message sent or received. There is no way in hell that Russia, China, and anyone else who wants to isn't already getting all his Signal messages.
