That is a badly flawed argument. Gerrymandering does not turn you into a horrible monster. If the democrats were to use gerrymandering to take over a state so that they could not be voted out, and than use that position to support social programs, poverty reduction, education, infrastructure improvement, and all the other things progressives want, then they would still be the good guys.

Or just wait for them to leave the house and arrest them then when they either have the drugs on them or stashed back at home where they cannot flush them.

I hear you, but I live in a ruby-red county and personally know a lot of good people that have been programmed to believe the GOP's lies without question. They are good people. They are kind. They are generous. And they sincerely believe that they are the good guys in this fight because they never see the real truth of what's going on.

I've imagined it. I've also imagined worse, and I'm fairly certain I'll see it in the not to distant future. Trump is almost at the 'kill legislators and judges' stage of his fascist takeover.

I don't doubt it at all. I wish we had a million of him on our side. In fact, I'm sure we would if everyone could see what is happening here. There are a lot of very good people on both sides. Too bad that so many are spoon fed lies by their chosen media. 😥
