Those are fission. Fusion bombs don't fuse uranium. They use a fission bomb to fuse Lithium.

Using the rule of thumb, anything heavier than iron requires energy input to fuse. So you lose energy fusing uranium.

Uranium generates that energy by fission. The hydrogen in sugar could generate huge amounts of energy if fused.

It's weird how MS's putting developers first became a joke. Back in the 80's, companies like HP and IBM had open warehouses with coders at desks lined up like factory workers. MS was the first big company to give a private office to every programmer.

Given that the magnetic field is the electric field distorted by viewing from a moving reference frame, I don't understand how a quantum monopole particle is physically possible. It seems analogous to looking for a quantum particle responsible for the centrifugal force.
