  • Put that thing back where it came from or so help meeeee

  • Government: remove DEI or you won't get any funding

Also Government: we're cutting all the funding to everything

  • I had a hedgehog similar to the one pictured many years ago. They only go criss-cross like that for 2 reasons: scared or angry. And you could definitely tell the difference between them. The one pictured looks quite angry and may very well be the embodiment of death. 10/10 for realism.

  • This plus unruly passengers is why I think a spare seat away from the other passengers should be mandatory on all passenger planes. Then we wouldn't get dead bodies with nowhere to put them or dangerous passengers duct taped to their seat.

  • That actually sounds like a good idea. Off-brand memes that are similar but definitely... Different.

  • 6th grade health teacher told the class that studies show evidence of increased breast cancer risk for those that have had an abortion. This was in a suburban Illinois school.

  • This is a common misconception. Not that I'm trying to get anyone to purchase one, but they are the most affordable electric vehicle on the market. I just bought a Prius last year and it was more expensive than their Tesla. They maybe could have bought a GMC or something, but part of this is that they wanted to be done with constantly fiddling with a shitty car. By saving a bit longer, they have achieved this and I don't blame them.

  • I couldn't have said it better. I feel terrible for my parents right now. They bought a Tesla a few years ago. A good portion of my teen and early adulthood was spent going to the junkyard to get parts or spending hours trying to revive a part we couldn't replace because we had no other choice. I was so happy when they were finally able to get a new car for the first time in 30 years. It wasn't what I would buy, but my dad has always been a tech nerd and this was his dream car. Now they're scared to visit me in the city because someone might scratch a swastika into their car that they're now embarrassed to drive.

  • I got in trouble for not singing during rehearsal for our 2nd grade Christmas concert. I remember this because I was definitely singing and it's the first time I can remember getting in trouble for something I didn't do and having no power to do anything about it. I actually love singing so much that I ended up singing in any group I could join in highschool and college. Really though, that teacher just didn't like me very much 🫤

  • I would like to subscribe to uranium facts please

  • I always thought it was funny that in Sailor Moon, the bad guy would always wait for them to transform.

  • The issue here is that there isn't one. If someone rolled out an update to a dishwasher that broke it and they offered to replace it with something that is not the same size, you would be pretty unhappy with how it fits in your kitchen. If they replace my phone, it will be far too large for me. I accepted the battery swap for this reason. I'm hoping small phones will make a comeback, but I'm skeptical.

  • I don't want my phone replaced. I like my phone the way it is. They don't sell phones this small anymore and my small hands need it. Also it's fucking garbage that the standard is to get a new phone every 2 years. It's incredibly wasteful especially when you consider that people don't just trash their computers after 2 years. My 4A is only 4 years old and going strong! Here's to hopefully a few more years!

  • This is why I think it's important to stoop to their level and start spreading childish rumors about them.

    ✔️ Not inciting violence

    ✔️ Not illegal

✔️ Not significant enough for them to claim defamation

✔️ Makes them far too angry for how petty it is on account of their extremely low emotional intelligence

For example: JD Vance only eats the cat food part of lucky charms pass it on

Another example: JD Vance says he's sorry after cumming pass it on

Just one more for good measure: JD Vance puts his cast iron in the dishwasher pass it on

  • Has anyone tried promoting alternatives via images? Obviously mods can still see them and hand out bans, but bots can't automatically detect them if they're deep fried enough.

  • Reposting my comment from another thread:

For anyone that needs this information, you can (currently) order abortion medicine (mifepristone and misoprostol) online in any state. I did it a few days ago and it was stupid easy to do. I'm not pregnant, but I wanted to order some as a just-in-case for myself or others.

The Plan C website has a great list of websites you can order from if you're not pregnant. It costs about $150 and some offer financial assistance if you need it. But please do it NOW while you still can.

I ordered one from Aid access and one from safe choice. Both asked a few questions that didn't ask for personal information or ID. They mostly just need an email, address to send it, and a credit/debit card to pay.

Some clarifications from other posters that may be helpful: this medication will keep up to 2 years when stored in a cool dry place. This is also different than plan B. Plan B is usable up to 120 hours after sex and does not require prescription. Where as mifepristone and misoprostol require a prescription (obtainable through these sites) and are usable up to 13 weeks of gestation. You may be able to obtain them at your local pharmacy with a prescription in a legal state (for now).

    Good luck out there everyone.

  • Just one little murder... As a treat.

  • I've actually seen 2 recent practices that I hate more than this. While this is frustrating, at least you can input a custom tip. I've also seen them where they show 3 different dollar amounts that don't indicate percentage but doing the math, it's definitely way over the usual 20%. Then there's the one I hate the most which I keep seeing at places where you don't usually tip. You go to pay with your card and the little transaction/card machine shows different tip amounts, the default of which is already set. If you don't want to leave a tip, you have to figure out which button to push to do so. They're all different and it can be very confusing. I even saw one where each option was labeled in correlation with a button on the screen, except that they didn't match up. And what do you do then? Ask the person at the register how not to tip them?

  • It truly is disgusting. I always take a full week to sit down and carefully research everyone and everything I'm voting for. I sit down for a few hours each night with my ballot and do a couple sections until it's done. But unfortunately, most people are not as diligent as I am nor do they care about local politics. I don't even consider myself to be a political person, but at least I do my civic duty. That seems to be lost in the American people.
