For me it was Russia when I spent aroubd 9 days there (in and around Moscow). The people were genuinely friendly and there we not the scammers/tourist traps like in most of Europe and Asia.
The markets were as interesting as any I've been to in Asia/North Africa.
It' much worse now as there seems to be a growing mistrust in 'the government' over the last 5 years. Not helped by people like a senior citizen that proclaims "Make NZ first again" forgetting that he has been deputy PM 5 years out of the last 8
I had not seen much of MeidasToucg before this election, as as a 'rest of world member' the first couple of videos I watched were OK, then it seemed to be more of the same and as you say "Newsreader DAZED & BEFUDDLED by hyperbole!"
Yeah Exoskeletons; My left knee, I fecked that up many years ago and carrying a multi day pack can get sore. Also lt left shoulder, I fecked that up last summer (I think there may be a post or two in my history) and it now has pins in it and is still not right.

I'm currently a Site/Processing manager that dabbles in data, got there through beekeeping. I got a summer job working for a beekeeper (over 30 years. ago now) while doing a BSc in organic chemistry and never went back to uni - I was planning to go into lab work/food science in the dairy industry.
