  • at 20 years in the area - good luck with that

I do wonder why they seem to be turning up more now and if they are spreading

  • some good comments here, I'd just add two things:

    • be genuine in your posts
    • don't post to lots of communities at the same time - I will ban posters if I see 3 or more posts landing on my instance

But other than than I hope to see you OC sometime

  • forgot about Yellow Dog. I still have a BSD VM (Dragonfly) that I occasionally fire up

  • I started with Mandrake 6 when the there were lots of 9's or 0's in the year

    Then bounced from Slackware/opensuse/Red Hat/Debian/Gentoo/BSD

Now running Kde Neon and MacOS (Debian and BSD as server OSs)

  • Half my age, no grey, and my beard is going on 7 inches (and now very grey). The printed tee would be more than likely to be a mountain/camping/nature print

  • I’ll also note that in Australia under 16’s aren’t meant to be on social networks and that it may also happening in other places too

  • There are plenty like mine, might not be explicitly for under 18's but it is non-NSFW

  • Yes it will work, there were issues a long time ago but I believe that they were all resolved

  • I see that we are the same age, even if on opposite sides of the world.

  • I was just thinking about this this morning as we will be going on a 6 week roadrip around NZ and I cant be bothered to stand up my wordpress server again

  • My wife and I meet as a friend group some 5 years before we went out - that was almost 35 years ago... shit time flies

  • Are you from rural NZ, cause that sounds exactly like my childhood but we made home made pipebombs and moved onto making our own explosives

Also rafted from my house to a mates, some 10km down river - one time coming off and ripping my leg open, the scar is dome 70mm x 30mm. Good times

  • I must say its 20 odd years ago that we went, I'm sure the world was a simpler place

  • I have some environment monitoring units that run on cr32 that last around 12 months (not ESP's ;) )

  • Oh, you will still be able to get the data, you will just have to subscribe (at some exorbitant price point) to a private corporation that will also be charging the US government a huge mark up to gather the data...

There was a clip of (I think it was) Trump saying some thing along the lines of 'we have to reduce the wastage in public spending and grow private investment'

He is stripping you country and raping it for his and his billionaire buddies pocket book

    Good luck

  • I think for embedded iot type apps it could be great, pair it with some caps for peak loads (read/transmit).
