It's a good baseload but it's inflexible. We need more ways to take advantage of it at quiet times.

Electric car chargers are part of it. Maybe house batteries. We need our devices to be smarter about power and when they use it.

It's also very expensive to build and run.

Do you also rate books by the number of pages?

This attitude here is what has fucked up gaming more than any greedy publisher ever did.

I would have thought it would be a client side patch rather than server side, but surely it's a case of taking whatever Proton is changing out of the machine "fingerprint" when generating it on a Steam Deck. There's plenty of other things they can use to identify a machine.

Steam deck is a thing now.

Whine at the developer and Valve. They will whine at Denuvo. Chances are it's something Denuvo haven't checked for and can fix quite easily.

Especially on a "Steam Deck Verified" game.

Jellyfin does all that and more.

We're no longer in the days of competing with a USB stick and hoping the TV will play whatever format it's in, or using VLC and a laptop.
