  • That’s very unfortunate. I deleted my Facebook account a decade ago because it was flooding me with superficial stuff from people that i didn’t care about. I stopped using Twitter as soon as Musk bought it, it was shit before that too. Deleted Reddit a couple of days ago because it is impossible to say anything that the moderators disapprove of. Maybe lemmy will be the next thing to delete

  • I am a developer and Linux is my native environment in production systems. I wanted to use Linux on my laptop but sleeping / waking up never worked well enough. It could not switch from integrated video card to a discrete one ending up always using the discrete one which drained the battery in 30 minutes. All in all, it was usable but the details didn't work so I gave up. That was years ago and eversince no customer really allows Linux...

  • I read an article / listened to a podcast where a visually impaired person said that tabs are much better because they can configure how wide they are rendered to better accommodate them and now In would prefer to use tabs. Still all customers i have seem to use only spaces.
