  • Well, the change I did notice after upgrading from 13.5 to 13.7.

It now forgot that I turn off tolls roads. And while it happily put me on the expensive toll road, it wouldn't show the arrival time or duration time. I use Waze.

(I've been doing updates pretty regularly once or twice a week for the last month. I wasn't purposely holding back versions. These are just the versions that i had access to.)

  • Oh, I wrote that in a confusing way.

I meant on the Android phone opening up Android Auto to check the settings. I only know to go to the settings and type Android Auto into the search bar. Just Auto won't find it for me. And I can't find a way to make a shortcut for it, like with Pixel Buds.

  • You took the time to spell your post correctly and use correct grammar.

I used to have very sloppy handwriting. I've come to realize that if you want other people to understand you, you do need to make an effort to be understandable.

Shortcuts in communication do not show superiority. Too many shortcuts devalue your communication, just like poor spelling and grammar would devalue your post.

    3. Wider Support for Linux on Mobile: The rise of Linux-based mobile operating systems, like PinePhone and Ubuntu Touch, will continue to develop, offering more alternatives to Android and iOS.
    4. Growth in the Linux Gaming Ecosystem: The Steam Deck and tools like Proton are expected to drive Linux to the forefront of gaming, offering a better gaming experience on Linux systems.
    5. Improved Desktop Environments and Applications: As Linux evolves, user interfaces and applications will become more polished, ensuring a smoother experience for users, making it more mainstream.

Overall, Wallen predicts that Linux will solidify its presence across various sectors and become a more accessible, reliable, and versatile choice for both businesses and individual users by 2025.

  • I'm really trying to avoid all Meta products, but Quest 3 seems to have the best reviews and there are some good refurbished and used deals.

I'm not sure what to pick instead, while being cheap and having a PC about 7 years old.
