  • "We wanted to live. We had no combat experience. We were just ordinary working people from villages"

This is the cost of war. Everyday people going about their lives with friends and family having their time on this world upended and cut short, all at the whim of some asshole putting their own ambition before the livelihood of others.

  • This animation is incredible. The best AI generated animation I think I've seen. The only weird thing I can detect is the excessive flopping of his sleeve. But to make up for it is the way his index finger is slightly bent because you can't tuck the rest of your fingers all the way in without doing so. Crazy stuff.

  • It's times like these that I wonder whether perhaps God is real and is just laying low so they can troll us with shit like this. That's probably what I would do (after erasing world hunger, cancer, tuberculosis, etc. from existence).

  • It's called a junk drawer and as far as I am aware it's an inevitability. However, I will say it's odd that you have utensils in there. Most junk drawers I've encountered are filled with random crap that rarely if ever gets used.

  • Oh there are many of us across the political spectrum that are aware of how our two party system fails us. For the record, I don't expect things to be different but in light of how bad things are it's hard not to get my hopes up especially when there's a good chance at meaningful change.

Many of us are becoming further and further disillusioned with our political system. However, things are changing slowly. Municipalities are introducing ranked choice voting systems and there are efforts to expand that to the state level. Maybe someday we'll put this mess behind us.

  • Remember folks, the company reps you interact with are generally not the ones making the rules they are paid to abide by. They're working for a living, just like us.

With that, calling this an "act of terrorism" is an incredulous overreaction that just goes to show how badly they're shitting their pants right now.

  • I've seen so many terrible takes already. I made the mistake of looking at a Reddit thread on the announcement. They're not even trying to be subtle. "Female characters are supposed to be pretty! Nobody wants to play as an ugly bald bitch who looks like a man!". I'd consider myself a seasoned internet veteran and even still it's shocking to me.
