  • In addition to this, the US does all of Europe's dirt elsewhere in the world. For example, oil gets stolen from Syria and sent to Europe. This means European capitalists don't have to compete with American capitalists, who source their oil from Canada and Latin America. They agree to divvy up resources so Europe and the US don't come into conflict later.

The war in Ukraine is an example of the opposite happening. NATO capitalists are in conflict with capitalists in former Soviet nations. They both want to extract resources from Ukraine, but NATO capitalists want Russian capitalists to be subservient.

As said above, the Marshall Plan made Europe militarily dependent on the US. In exchange, the US does the actual armed conflict. Europe gets to benefit from imperialism, yet sits below American capital.

  • look at the relative wealth between China and Europe in the pre-colonial era, then compare that with where China and the West were at in 1948.

That's what I meant with China's gold. China itself is comparable to the entirety of Europe in terms of size and population. Europeans then came in and stole a bunch of shit. Like imagine if the Vatican, Louvre, Amsterdam, and more had all of their valuables stolen. The amount of wealth would have to be in the hundreds of billions.

But that's exactly what happened to China and hundreds of other places.

    (We're saying the same thing)

  • As a comparison, the British stole over $45 trillion from India between 1765 and 1938.

I wouldn't put it past Britain to have stolen similar quantities of goods from China. Especially since before British colonization, China was the largest gold producer in the world and one of the largest exporters in history. When the British showed up, all of that was funneled into British coffers.

  • There are people still alive who grew up in residential schools. There are even people alive who knew survivors of the Trail of Tears. The genocide of Native Americans really wasn't that long ago and (like you said) still ongoing.

Obama forced an oil pipeline through indigenous land in what? 2014?

  • You missed the comically big leap where all measuring instruments have been replaced by comically large spoons.

  • Ooh I met a professional Japan hater once. He was a mathematics graduate student at my university. He was given another exchange student as a roommate, who happened to be Japanese. A shitshow ensued, I was asked by some white people what to do ("Aren't you Asian too? Is this a racism?"), and I just kind of shook my head.

    Was deeply unserious.

  • Reactionaries genuinely believe this. They think IQ isn't a total meme, that it's the greatest indicator of a person's intellect. And of course, that some groups have higher IQ than others because of genetic superiority (IQ tests totally aren't rigged/biased). They use this to explain why Europeans "built civilization" while everyone else are all stupid savages (instead of Europeans having resources others did not that allowed them to kill everyone).

  • "Would you shoot a baby in exchange for $1 million?"

US troops answered "Yes" to that question, except it's not even $100k.

  • For playing in my Mechwarrior 4 cockpit simulator on the go.

  • The In-Laws (2003)

Right before his daughter's wedding, a man finds out his future son-in-law's dad is a spy.

    The Cell (2000)

A detective has to enter the mind of a serial killer and search his dreams for the location of his latest victim before time runs out.

    Skulls (2000)

At an ivy league school, a law student joins a secret fraternity known only as "The Skulls."

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (2004)

Two stoners get the munchies for White Castle cheeseburger sliders.

    Swiss Army Man (2016)

I'm not even going to try and explain this.

    Old School (2003)

A group of men wanting to relive their college days start a fraternity at a nearby school.

  • That movie had non-stop jokes and never let up. Was a lot like Mean Girls in that regard.

  • I was surprised at this movie, too. I think it was one of Tom Hardy's early movies, so it's pretty unknown.

  • Super is hilarious. I like how Dwight is just running around hitting people with a wrench.

  • I have no idea how they managed to fuck the XIII remaster so badly. The bar was underground and they still made it worse.

  • Police and the military aren't attacked in the US because the majority of Americans think those are good things. Americans want white supremacy and classicism enforced. Americans just think the enforcement is being done to the wrong groups, so they carry out mass shootings against schools, churches, etc. as a correction.

The actually oppressed are in no position to openly engage in warfare against the government. MLK pointed out it would be a disaster because the retaliation would exceed any forces black Americans could muster. Look at how much pearl clutching was done in the wake of the George Floyd protests. The so-called moderates immediately supported the pigs throwing people into unmarked vans.

  • I thought everything in this show was scripted. No, the "numbers prove God is everywhere" guy, "Jews killed Jesus" woman, and Captain Sexual Harassment are all real people. It's so on-the-nose I thought they were all doing a bit.
