  • 🤦🏽‍♀️ Thanks for explaining, my brain must have corrected the race condition.

Regarding threads: I have had good experience with using thread safe queues everywhere to exchange data between threads, it's the right tool in many cases, but I doubt queues to be useful when coding for performance.

  • You are right it just looks like they used Excel + curve fitting.

  • Hehe, I think I haven't caught up with the improvements, flash with 1GB/s transfer speed is ludicrously fast!

  • I won't mind that much storage, the 256GB I have are nearly full.

  • The ones used for 4K recordings are not slow 100+MBps, I won't say prone to failure as such, flash storage can only handle a finite number of writes but we can mitigate that by using wear leveling.

  • 🤫 we don't mention BSD out of reverence.

  • Those 500x500 pixels must be very important.

And that grip reminds me of Hypertapping on the NES controller.

  • Goated with the sauce?

  • So, neutridonts?

  • Yes 1984 was written in 1949.

  • Hope they have to pay daily fines for not sharing that data.

  • I have been using 2-3 monitors for more than 20 years now it's the best.

I use 3 monitors at work, the left one is for outlook and teams, the middle one is the main development monitor, the right one is for browsers chrome/edge for work related sites, FF for surfing.

  • Munich did exactly that in 2017, so let's see how far Sleswig-Holstein is willing to go, hopefully they won't be falling for Microsofts sweet talk.

  • Forgot about that one, even if I just worked on a Jenkins script 🙄

  • I would rather use pgsql or tsql instead of PL/SQL, mostly because of oracle.

  • Yes Java, Scala, Kotlin, Jython and Perl

  • Force all videos to be updated with the Mr. Bean filter, and hope it won't awaken something in people.

  • An AAAA game that's only 65GB? and it gets 7/10.

Now I know my mistake the A's have nothing to do with quality 🤦🏽‍♂️

  • That's crazy talk, we need to make AAAA and AAAAA games, Microsoft is ready to have all their developers spend three years on a single perfect game!

    Each copy will be $7000
