I guess I'm just not pedantic enough to search how to create them on my desktop keyboard, or copy them from a web search, when I can approximate them using simple symbols and people understand what they mean. That would be like me pointing out that "≠" is an equivalency notifier which means "Is not equal to" and not "not equals" and that "<>" is actually a comparison symbol in the compendium of mathematical figures and does not actually notate equivalencies. Which could lead to a broader discussion on meaningful differences in mathematical symbols, based on the context within which, glossaries of mathematical notation are viewed.
