Get off anything news related and tell your girlfriend to knock it off. My wife used to send things or bring it up in conversation, and I tell her I don't want to discuss any of this, because it pisses me off. It's extremely selfish of your girlfriend to continue to send things after you've expressed your desire to not receive it.

Eh... This isn't like, "I think Nutella on my cheeseburger is good" and more like, "US slavery was good for the slaves to learn skills". All of what you said is happening all over. Someone shot at ICE agents the other day. People are trying to push back against the kidnappings. There's an app that people are using to log and track ICE locations. There are protests frequently.

There are things happening, but the media is not on the side of the people and either don't cover it or spin it.

I see the same message parroted 100 times over, but not a single person has a realistic notion for what to do. Should I, an average citizen in the Midwest, buy a bunch of guns, bombs, whatever, and just go assassinate the president of the US, arguably the best protected individual in the world? Let's say that through some miracle I do that, then what? Couch fucker takes the reigns reins, SCOTUS continues to enable fascism, and Congress is still fascist controlled. Am I supposed to just keep popping off people through the line of succession and also take out at least two supreme court justices, a handful of house members and a couple senators?

We can resist, protest, and fight back against this, but it's not something that has a quick solution. It's us citizens vs the US government, Russia, many State level governments, billionaires, and by proxy a huge disinformation and propaganda campaign.

I agree with the sentiment and there are for sure things they should be doing, like stonewalling and slowing down every thing they can. Other than that, what do you propose they do outside of the rules?

For sure, it is. But, if they do have one, they are likely paying taxes. They could be filing exempt, but I do feel that may be even riskier. Obviously if they are cash under the table, then it's only on purchases, not income.
