  • Why Brisbane? I was there once. It was hot and muggy and generally unpleasant. I don't remember having a great meal there, I don't remember seeing anything particularly spectacular. Just seemed like a hut and muggy city.

Melbourne OTOH was dynamic and fun and had spectacular food.

  • Even if we were to change our drug policies you can be sure you can be sure it won't be an overhaul but minuscule chipping away at the edges.

Despite our reputation to the contrary this country is way too conservative to overhaul our drug policies.

  • So I was at the kebab shop today and was about to order my usual lamb kebab but suddenly it occurred to me that even though the kebab had cabbage and hummus and tabouli on it it wasn't woke enough to trigger any nearby National or ACT voters nearby so I switched the order to a falafel.

I ordered extra hummus but I was in a quandary about the sauce. Should I go with yogurt or avocado? I really didn't think it would taste good with both of them and after a quite a bit of thought I went with plain yogurt without garlic. I don't know if that was the right choice in terms of wokeness but it did taste good. What do you guys think is more woke yogurt or avocado? I think the avocado might actually be more woke because it would make the kebab vegan and nothing upsets David Seymour more than a vegan except maybe teachers, trans people, people in a union, people who work for a living, government employees, students, doctors and nurses, people who need healthcare etc.

Also are Jalapeños woke? I think they might be because of the spelling alone but then again I don't think they have them in the middle east.

Finally the kebab tasted great, was filling and has a reasonable cost. Might have even been healthy who knows. Highly recommended.

  • I decided that tomorrow I am going to eat some middle eastern food tomorrow and create a woke explosion so loud David Seymour will hear it and send his anti woke army after me.

I am going to eat couscous, bulgur, hummus, parsley, tomatoes, cucumbers, dates, and use all kinds of woke spices like sumac, cumin and cardamom. I am going to drink pomegranite juice, and espresso and maybe even a chai latte. I think I might even wear some middle eastern clothing if I have anything resembling that in the closet. I am hoping that's going to be woke enough to alert him but I might have to rely on avocado toast with a poached egg and wilted spinach as additional weaponry if it doesn't work.

  • I don’t know, but I don’t think it matters.

I think it does matter. It's illustrative of our market strategy as a nation.

But the point was you said we don’t sell premium products which isn’t true at all. And when lab milk takes over the bulk of dairy, there will still be global auctions for “real” cow milk, because there will still be a market for it.

Of course there will be a market. Just like there is a market today for V8 sedans. It's just the market is really small.

  • Even Hipkins acknowledges they had some pretty crummy ideas leading up to the election, why do you think they’ve dropped no GST on fresh fruit as a policy?

They dropped the policy because the businesses pushed back against it. Doesn't mean it wasn't a good policy.

And how is singling out one ethnic group for causing violence in the world not racist?

She didn't do that though. Ironically this is a perfect illustration of the phrase "white fragility". Your fragile ego broke when your identity was criticised. Identity politics in action right here.

  • By the same logic, Green voters are also OK with Marama’s blatant racism,

Here is the thing. Only your types think Marama is racist or that the green party is racist. It's a line you guys pushed in the run up the election.

Labour voters are all OK with the dumb ideas they came out with in the run up to the last election.

Yes they were. That's why they voted for them. You think those ideas are dumb because you are a right wing nutter but they think those ideas were sensible.
