  • Bump me if anyone finds one. That shit was hilarious back in the day.

  • WWIII baby! You know what that means...nuclear annihilation! Put your best suit on so when the next civilization finds you they'll say, "Damn, this was one fly ass motherfucker, getting dressed up for a nuclear explosion."

    • Cop arrests someone and places him in handcuffs in the back of the cop's SUV.
    • Cop hears an acorn fall on the SUV and thinks the arrested person that he placed in handcuffs and supposedly searched is shooting at him.
    • Cop falls to the floor and fires and entire magazine at his SUV while yelling that he's been hit.
    • Luckily, despite being about 15 yards away from the SUV and unloading an entire magazine at the arrested person, he did not hit the arrested person in the SUV.
    • Cop then insists he's been hit until the doctors at the hospital tell him he is fine and has not been hit with a bullet.

You can't make this shit up.

  • I agree with you, but I also understand the French people taking King Louis and Marie Antoinette to the guillotine. Just saying, the situation there might be so intense and oppressive, that the killing could at least be understood even if not just. We just don't know enough :/

  • you dont know what that guy has done. maybe he's killed workers himself.

  • I'm convinced that Kim's haircut is purposefully so bad as a demonstration of power. He wants to show that he can look like "fuck my shit up" material and still get compliments. He goes out hoping someone would say something bad about his hair. "Say something. Say something!...Yeah, that's what I thought."

  • Every time I go on an international vacation to a tourist spot, I can tell that the group of mostly pale ass motherfuckers with an Indian-decent or Black dude that are drunk off of their asses acting like fools and laughing all over each other are clearly Brits. Get it together, people. You can't be going to other people's countries and getting ripped like that. lol, jk! Y'all are a trip. I'm looking for you guys to see if I can join in.

  • that's me, since 2023!

  • He's gaslighting us. We're possibly heading for a recession in the US. China's real estate market is jacked, Japan and the UK are in a recession. As tied up as our economies are, it would be expected. The one thing I, as someone that is in no way an expert on economics, think could save us is the major economic legislation headed by Biden that has been recently. Actually, I would expect the legislation to solely reduce the impact of a recession.

  • The top donation is $5k, but I'm tempted to think that was someone associated with him making a huge donation to make MAGA followers think that people are giving that much. I just can't imagine a middle-class person doing that.

  • If COVID didn't galvanize us, what possibly could?? I really can't think of anything short of a military attack directly on the homeland.

  • I'm an American that visited Russia for ~3 weeks in the mid 90s as a budding teenager. I visited Moscow and Dubna, but mostly Dubna. My experience was that Russians don't really engage with strangers on the street. They may also be a bit scornful. For example, I have this story.

I saw snow for the first time in my life on this trip. As such, I was having a blast with it. One time, I made a snowball and threw it at an insignificant street sign on an insignificant street. Some lady walking by yells at me something to the effect of, "Why are you doing that, you little brat‽" My Russian uncle, who was present and translated the lady's comment, behaved as if that was the most normal event ever. If that happened in the US, people would think the lady is a jerk and someone might even tell her off.

Another thing that stuck out to me is that I went ice skating outside at a park. Not one other kid even made an attempt to be my friend. I skated alone the whole time. That would be nearly unheard of in the US too.

However, to not speak only poorly of Russians, as I'm aware that I'm sharing my perspective and they probably have cultural critiques of my behaviors as well (eg the lady that scolded me), I would like to note a positive thing I noticed. If you're friends with a Russian, that person is your legitimate friend. They are loyal and authentic af with each other. Behind closed doors, Russians that have familial or friendly relationships are completely different than what they are like outside. To really get to know Russians and their culture, you have to become a close friend with them. Only then, will you see who each one truly is. I saw that many times. Outside, they where a mask. Inside their homes, they are quite warm, caring, engaged, and emotional. To get an idea, read the letters between Rodya, his sister, and his mom in Crime and Punishment. That's a good example of what they are like with each other.
