Michelin won’t do F1 because they don’t want to make artificially degrading tyres. Firestone is happy with Indycar afaik. Pirelli is really the only major option for F1.
I could see tyres and safety cars mixing the up the order pretty significantly tomorrow. In all reality it’ll probably be a verstappen win, but one can hope
Piastri is incredibly good. I was skeptical of him coming in, and I was entirely wrong. Kid has proven himself to be able to run up against the best and hold his own. Absolutely amazing talent that very much deserves his seat. Mclaren made some big brain moves to “steal” him from alpine, where tbh his talent would have probably been wasted
This is how I view it too. I rarely spend money on twitch, but a sub or dono to someone who I’ve literally watched for hundreds of hours for essentially free doesn’t really seem like a problem to me.
I mean, anyone who’s ever followed video game marketing knows they’ll promise the moon and the stars and only deliver a spaceship that can maybe hit orbit.
We shouldn’t blame consumers, but we should also be skeptical of any claim a developer makes about their game. NMS, CP2077, CoD, etc are all examples of over promise and underdeliver, and those are only the few I can think of off the top of my head. This is unfortunately the norm, not the exception. Starfield is a great example too. It fell a little flat on release because it turned out to be another generic Bethesda game, which wasn’t what the marketing promised, but is exactly what was expected by many.
Wait for reviews from reputable sources (not ign) and make decisions then. Don’t buy into the marketing hype that is all non-committal and doesn’t promise anything.
Wasn’t expecting to see DCI on the front page, but here we are
Our weather is fucked. Here in the PNW our summers are so much hotter and drier. Our winters are warmer and more mild as well. Climate change has fucked our planet beyond recognition. If you told someone from Seattle 20 years ago that our summers would be as hot as Southern California they would tell you you’re crazy, but we’re getting there.
If you bought into clearly false marketing hype I’m not sure what to tell you. It’s a solid game that’s better than any other RPG released recently (outside of maybe BG3, which is so different it barely counts as the same genre)
It was never going to be everything promised in marketing, just like every other game released in the last 15 years.
This race is truly at a horrific time for everyone. Europe gets a ridiculously early race and the US gets a race that’s so late at night it’s almost unwatchable for a lot of the country. It makes no sense other than chasing money.
I siavled the TPM module so it’ll keep saying this. Can’t be forced into an upgrade if the cpu doesn’t seem to be supported
