I've gone back to Ostriv since there have been some nice updates since I last played. It's such a beautiful game and I always end up spending most of the time makeing it look nice.

Also that PS2 is stunning. I kinda miss all the colourful and/or transparent consoles stuff as it used to be a reasonable option but now it comes with a "special edition" price tag.
I've been playing it on and off for over 20 years now with some definite highs and lows but I have nothing but respect for the devs (3 people) and community. It's not on any store fronts and they just do their own thing.
There are so many options out there that asking for $80, or whatever the equivalent is, is just ridiculous. I really hope people stand up against this bulshit.
There has always been an inherent value to consoles but if that goes away then I can genuinely see them dying off. Personally I thinks the current gen is a huge disappointment anyway and this news just makes it even more ridiculous.
I take back some of what I thought of RDR2. I decided to buy the digital version so I can play it on the Xbox Series S, also sitting further back now on the sofa, and it looks so much better. It isn't fully upgraded for current gen but has some graphics improvements that really help.
Regarding Clair Obscur: E33 I've played a couple hours now and the story/world are nice and interesting but the controls and mechanics could be better.
Survival mode is where the real fun is. Your first 10 attempts will end in an easy death while you learn the game but it will eventually click and you'll survive for 5/10/50 days and you'll love it.
I'd forgotten about that but I don't mind what happened and blame Nvidia not Hinterland. If they are going to make money off of others then they should at least get permission from Devs to be part of it.
Community servers were/are some of the best times I have in gaming.
