  • It's looks really promising but we all know (like every game nowadays) to wait until release week.

I started another playthrough of Space Marine this week in anticipation though.

  • Too soon...

What makes me happy though is the Dreamcast is still going strong today with fan translations, indie games (and more) and online play.

  • Sega was their own worst enemy

Arguably they still are today. Can't stop being a fan though!

  • It seems that most, if not all, are what we had here in the UK.

  • PS5 ui is actually quite bland but at least it isn't crammed full of useless shit like the Xbox dashboard.

I find the aesthetics of Xbox are actually nice but again they fill the dash with so much stuff it's a mess and intrusive.

  • I'm not surprised. My experience with Xbox has declined over the last few years now so wouldn't recommend it to anyone anymore.

  • Buying on eBay is fine. I've had some issues but it normally just takes a few days to resolve and I'm never worse off.

    Selling on the other hand...

  • I never owned a G-Con and only had a knock-off.of some kind. Spent a lot of time on Point Blank, Die Hard 2 (trilogy) and Time Crisis.

  • Swapped my copy of Power Stone 2 for Soul Calibur with a friend of a friend and what was supposed to be a week or so became forever...

I also let a mate borrow MSR on the Dreamcast and when I went over again I found the disc being used as a coaster to someone's coffee...

  • I used to collect a lot more in the last 20 so years but sold anything not Dreamcast related. That was mostly because of space saving though.

I did manage to get a clone GDEMU before they were in high demand but playing roms loses the nostalgic charm that having something physical has.

  • I don't have a hard cut-off but I also haven't bought a physical game in some years now because of the price increases. I would love to continue my Dreamcast collection but it's not worth the risk spending so much anymore.

  • I don't really have an opinion either way for "always online" but live service (games as a service) makes me actively avoid that shit.

It's perfectly fine to "finish" a game (maybe after a year or two) and move on to making the next. You don't need to have a 10 year plan to try and keep it relevant.

  • Fixed. Thanks.

  • I didn't realise it was a failed Kickstarter. I bought it in early access so I guess they decided to risk it that way and it worked out in the end.

  • No not really but it's all subjective anyway.

I remember RAGE we good the first time I played but I really struggled with it last year when I tried it again. Also John Goodman voiced a character at the beginning and then buggers off never to be seen again...

  • There are so many reasons why it failed but we all love it so.

  • This War of Mine: Complete Edition £26.93 £3.91 (85% off)

In my opinion one of the greatest games but also one of the saddest. If you already own the game then I highly recommend all the DLC as they all bring some interesting scenarios to the game.
