I have lived in the desert my whole life. So I guess I'm an expert now. I can tell you that it's hot as fuck and it can still kill me. No amount of planned "exposure" is going to prevent dehydration or heat exhaustion.
100% agree with you. The TOS loyalists are going out of their way to find excuses to hate this show. It's the best series I have seen since TNG and I am not saying the others were bad. I actually like all of them with the exception of Discovery because it focuses so heavily on one plotline and one character.
This is an ensemble with humor when it needs it and is more true to the heart of Trek than people are giving it credit.
I love this season. This show has done for me what Discovery didn't. Made Trek fun or thought provoking when it needs to be while entertaining existing fans and new viewers.
Try Secret of Evermore. The combat is very different but the game allows for two players! One controls the main character and the other can control his pet dog. It's one of the rare action RPGs of the time.
FF6 is such a great game. I saved up and bought both of these games as a kid, lots of late nights irrigating fields and killing rattlesnakes to get those titles. Both titles were great in their own way and I can't imagine my childhood without them. Another great game was Secret of Evermore.
The official mobile port is well done. I know it wasn't always the case but after some past updates I haven't had any issues with it. I picked it up on Google Play and it was worth the $8 I paid.
SNW and Lower Deck are fucking fantastic. SNW is a true to form traditional Trek show and Lower Decks is funny and diverse enough for those who feel Trek takes itself to seriously.
If Paramount runs afoul of finances I am sure someone will buy the IP rights to at least these. TBH, Strange New Worlds needs to be available on TV and streaming.
My cousin is a lobbyist (the shitty insurance kind) and it's difficult conversing with someone who literally sells out the rest of us in the name of capitalism. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to have a kid on the opposite side of the political spectrum doing a job you feel is dishonest and hoping they do the right thing.
Those are super easy to fix. Even the Google eraser could fix those easily.
