Any idea on how to get this up and running on 3DS? I checked the link and it has instructions for Windows, Linux, Android, etc.. Didn't see 3DS on there though. Thanks!
I had never viewed this commercial before today. After reading the comments here, naturally I wanted to see it for myself and followed a link. I honestly didn't see anything other than standard sibling interactions. The early morning "dreamy-style" lighting (prime coffee drinking time) is the only thing that gave off a romantic atmosphere of any kind. From the comments here it's clear others see something between the two across but it feels like a bit of a reach to me.
Presently, Hulu's the worst I've experienced of the paid streaming apps I own.
I recently just cancelled Netflix because they announced they were raising their prices yet again and with the recent account sharing crackdown, it was the last straw. My parents used my account far more than I ever did and they're not tech savvy folks. They get frustrated by tech of any kind. Once they couldn't access Netflix easily, I asked and they don't want an account of their own, it's just too much hassle.
So screw the greedy shits! Now they get nothing.
It's probably some weird DRM where it needs to authenticate with their server in order to verify you're actually the one with an account. It's silly. The steps they take to try and stop piracy are what in fact drives most people to it.
I started downloading shows from several streaming services I pay for simply because of the number of repeating ads they'll run during a show. A 24 min runtime gets extended to 45 minutes for all the ads, which I was sitting through for months but when they only have two different ads on loop, WTF!? A man can only take so much!

You know what might be even better? Add a robot with a screen projecting a digital Cave Johnson face. Similar to how he put Caroline into GLaDOS, it could fit the narrative with him being a robot now too and if he gets destroyed, another robot could drop in and power up. It would make for an awesome "climb the tower"/"fight as many enemies in a row as you can" sort of fight. They'd just need to record loads of his dialog for constant quips.
I wasn't thrilled at the idea of leaving Reddit after 14 years but some things cannot be avoided. My first post here on Lemmy. Thank you for the warm welcome!
