I work mornings in the office and drive home on lunch break to wfh the rest of the day and all my best solutions pop into my head in that drive home. It's great because it's a quick break from work to get the brain percolating and then I can jump right into solving mode as soon as I get home.
I'm torn about this because I have good mentors but I genuinely want to try to learn how to code and not just have the answers given to me right away. At least I'm only working on volunteer project so being slow isn't really holding anyone else up.
I have no words that could possibly convey how disgusting Christian Nationalism is. It's truly depressing that our only recourse in this country is to go after this organization's tax exempt status. At what point will the pendulum swing from freedom of religion to eradicating all religion in this country?
I never knew about how CSD spreads but that makes sense. I don't see artifacts with my auras. Generally everything becomes too bright and too loud all at once. I know I'm having a bad one if I start writing backwards (I will write the second letter of every word first) or slurring my speech. Thankfully I don't get super bad ones as much anymore.
American here. I love the German meme communities if even I don't always understand the joke. Thanks for letting us know how you guys are doing and I hope everyone lands safely in the new server.
I previously had an LG Stylo and now I have a Motorola G stylus. I love both of them. The stylus is kind of thin but it's stored in the phone. I use the notepad pretty frequently so having a phone with a stylus is a must have for me.
My husband's computer recently died and he was very scared about the possibility of losing 40 plus gigs of digital RPG rule books. I did manage to save the drive so all was good.
You most definitely can overfeed scorpions and tarantulas. I once had a rose hair that I bought off someone who didn't have time for it anymore and the little girl was so "fat" that I had to put her in a low top cage to keep her from climbing for a few months until she slimmed down. She would have ruptured if she fell from a height of a foot or more.
My African Grey could easily cause me serious damage but he does hold back by only giving me warning bites. He thinks he's being gentle but it still hurts and I don't ever forget what they are capable of.
Ooo yea rubbing alcohol works too in a pinch. I've been lucky enough not to have to do it. I typically stuck to working with our carpet pythons and left the boas to my husband.
No not where I live. When my husband and I kept hot inverts along with our snakes I kept a comprehensive supplemental insurance just in case someone got hurt, but the laws here only apply for reporting illegal animals.
The key to dealing with a (pet) snake bite is to not pull back in fear. Their teeth are definitely like Velcro. Usually I'd just let them go to town and then run some hot tap water over their head. They don't like the water and immediately let go. With birds you're getting hurt no matter what you do.
Crazy parrot and reptile lady here to confirm. I would much rather take a bite from a large snake any day of the week than take a bite from one of my birds. I've had to get stitches multiple times because of my little feathered assholes.
