I’m one of those people who was bitter and resentful. I’m old enough to have watched the same scenario play out over and over before.
For the first time, I was actually hopeful that some real change might actually happen, that benefited myself and my fellow “landed gentry”. I had even done something i never thought I would have. I volunteered my time to help Bernie’s campaign.
Then the DNC did what they always do, and made sure that what THEY wanted was more important than the country. Which is how we ended up with trump. Because the status quo wasn’t bad enough already. Right?
Preference is Indica 100%, but sativa works great for stopping a migraine in its tracks, most of the time. Also, if I want to get a lot of shit done, sativa is a better choice for me. It doesn’t make me anxious, but it definitely makes me more fidgety and needing to do stuff.
I do too. I was given premium because alien blue and something else so I have tons and tons of coins. I don’t think it’s worth giving Reddit the traffic to give them out, especially if they are all going to disappear in a. Couple months anyhow. My account is still active I just haven’t been to Reddit since the 11th June.
I think they are trying to, either, do an only fans type thing where people can pay the contributors directly and Reddit just takes a cut, or to try to draw more creators in and pay like YouTube based on traffic to them. Either way, I’m glad I’m no longer over there. It’s all too money grubbing for me.
I don’t disagree. I’m not sure how that generates revenue for Reddit though. Unless it’s their attempt to capture content creators like YouTube. Or is it more like an onlyfans type idea where people pay the creator personally through the system and they system just takes their cut.
Eh. Whatever. I’m no longer on Reddit. It I’m mildly entertained by the drama.
It doesn’t look like they will. It looks like you have until September to use or lose. Also, it looks like if you bought premium, you’re just losing that “feature” with no replacement value for your money
It also looks like they are going to implement some kind of “contriburor” payment scheme.
The issue is there are a LOT of people who still think that states like Florida and Texas are AMAZING places to live. Many even going as far as moving there, from places like CA. Not saying CA doesn’t have its fair share of problems, but at least seems to be trying to move in the right direction.
I can think of quite a few people I know who left CA to move to places like TX, FL, and even a couple to MS and LA. They didn’t need to, but rather wanted to. Why? Insert some pro 2A talking point or some trickle down type financial gibberish.
I’m in California, they exist here too. They cover a pretty big part of the world, iirc.
