  • Anera is the charity I've been considering. They've got good ratings from Charity Navigator, Charity Watch, etc.

"Anera is responding to the immense humanitarian need in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Your donation will provide immediate and sustainable relief in Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan."

  • The Netflix series Sex Education is all about a wide variety of characters' wellbeing and mental health. Even antagonistic "bad" characters tend to have hidden depths and nuance. As a show it was also surprisingly gentle with its characters, rather than just constantly beating them up for drama's sake.

  • I was lucky enough to get one of the transparent red ones from the second round of limited editions, but the new red one looks gorgeous as well.

  • Several of the Commander Cody serials can be seen in early episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

  • A Short Hike is a very charming game that's included in the sale. If you've picked up one of the bigger charity bundles on itch.io in the last couple years you may already own it.

  • At a minimum, I'd want to be able to unrealistically change direction in mid-air.

  • I'd like to be able to double jump, platform video game-style. Mostly pointless in daily life, but imagine how good it would feel?

  • Kobold Press' monsters are fun and original. Just be aware that they hit at their listed Challenge Rating, while many of the first party WotC monsters are easier/less effective in combat than their listed CR.

  • War is bad, but I love the planes.

  • Jumpman on the Commodore 64.

  • Machines of Loving Grace released three really good albums from 1991-1995 (and had a good song on the soundtrack to The Crow), and then just stopped while working on their fourth. The lead singer now teaches at the California Institute of the Arts.
