Places online can only be as interesting as the people behind it. This is why 4chan was the internet's main meme factory in 2010/20, which would eventually trickle down on the well known pattern of Reddit->9GAG->Facebook. Not only did it host the funny and original neurodivergent folks of the world, but the space was as close to free speech (and slurs were restricted too!) as I've ever seen online. What can, for example, the heavily propagandised American, scared of original thought and shamefully out of practice, produce as valuable speech online?

You have to be truly brain-dead or evil to vote for him. He doesn't even pretend to be good! At least Dems pretend, which means getting swindled by them is not as insulting.

I don't know if that's true. I can tell you that I can only socialise with and truly care for a limited amount of people (= I don't necessarily want any more friends cause I don't know if I could be there for them if my circle widened), perhaps that's what he meant?

Why would more people impede me to think ethically and care for my fellow human being? And what do you mean by direct accountability? If I do something mean I feel like shit because I am acting like a villain, shouldn't that be enough to keep me walking the straight and narrow? My peers would rightfully call me out on it and even abandon me if I didn't repent (because I'm a social danger who acts like a rabid dog), isn't that more than enough?

TLDR: without a shared ideology based around axiomatic moral values (a denial of moral relativism) you will remain uncivilised, just with better toys as time goes by.

Words are maps to the terrain of experience/the universe. But the problem with words is that they define strict categories (you can cope with this by establishing a spectrum and not binary things: "not as reasonable"/"sillier than X") and those who rely only on words and not their own eyes and reasoning will be confused and frustrated: reality was more complex, it required actual analysis and not just theorising based on others' words, A didn't lead to B because your premises only made sense semantically but not in reality.
