  • They're deporting us to concentration camps, not countries. They absolutely aren't determining where you should go. Alligator Auschwitz, CECOT, the one they're building in Guantanamo... It's not a free ticket to another country and freedom. It's a long road to death.

  • Reason, sure. Ability? That's something else. Most of us don't have enough money to make the journey. I don't know of many places that would even accept us as immigrants without a substantial monetary value/donation or work skill, plus the language skills we don't have because schools don't teach foreign languages well or at all.

Who would even have us all?

  • Thanks for linking those. I can tell you that most people that know English as a first language have very little to no knowledge about the history between Poland and Ukraine. Like many things in the international world, it's very complicated. But now I understand it a little better. I would agree that Poland is under no obligation to support a government that can't seem to separate it's independence from fascist leaders of the past, which does raise questions about the direction of the future. Yes, Ukraine needs to be free. They need an the help they can get. But what if they win, and fascism takes hold?

I mean, look at how the US is falling to fascism. People aren't careful enough.

  • An unexpected kiss is a far cry from unexpected genitalia. Are you trying to equate "sudden tacos" to "sudden penis" just because of the word sudden? Of course not. Cmon, use some common sense.

Also, this isn't out of character for him based on the many stories he's already had come out.

  • Maybe give us a quick synopsis? I live in neither country so I don't know the nuances you're referring to. Did Ukraine officially say something against Poland? Or a portion of Polish government? You're pointing to a blog post and not a news outlet, so that's a very niche source and not typically deemed credible in the US (where I live). If you have a link to like The Guardian, or something like that, I'd absolutely believe it.

  • That's too real. I don't like it. Describing a hellish world of AI anti-choice, then at the end revealing that most of us will just be in labor camps instead. Damn. I'd tell you to write that into a book, but I don't think there's a happy ending there.

  • I could... tell when I made it to the bathroom. The sesame oil was not digested at all. I have eaten the same type of salad before and since.

Maybe it's a unique thing to just me, but no, I'll never try that again just to see. It was a horrible experience.

  • Just as a heads up to anyone reading this... Don't use sesame oil to make an oil and vinegar dressing. I did it once and shit my pants so bad I never wore khaki pants again. That stuff isn't like Olive oil or anything else in your kitchen. It is Instant Bad Day in a bottle.

  • Is that a real photo of his knuckles? I mean, the MS13 is clearly added on and likely a "decoded" read of the pot leaf, smiley face, cross, and skull tattoos that are clearly in the knuckles (very dubious on that symbolism) but are this even Kilmer's actual knuckles? Or just a random photo of someone else?

Edit: yes, those are his knuckles as you can see pictures of him talking to that senator.

I strongly doubt, based on a quick search, that those are in any way related to a gang. They are evidence of drug culture (gasp!) but I've yet to see any evidence that any gang uses those.

Edit 2: it appears MS13 members literally just get tattoos that say "MS13" and don't attempt to hide it. It's a proof of loyalty thing, apparently.

  • And on Nintendo's website, there was an elevator sidebar that'd take you to different levels, each one having some other function like upcoming releases, tips, and stuff.

One was labeled "secret" or something, and opened on a black screen. You'd think it was a broken page. But if you moved your cursor around, you'd find a hidden link that'd take you to their secret page. I can't remember what was there, but I sure remember feeling like an elite hacker at 10 years old when I did it!

  • That's a legitimate concern. Anything that's on the Internet can also get an "update" (as if a dishwasher needs one ever) that accidentally bricks it, and you now need a new one.

I absolutely resist the Internet of Things.
