To be fair, I know people from Ontario who had to travel to Buffalo for diagnostics, because they had to wait for over 9 months in Ontario, and the cost of few thousand dollars was not that great to them.

Will be funny if "wise" Canadians will elect liberals for another term - get that Trump!

Dude, you are not making any sense. Are you from Alberta? She was elected to represents interests of Albertants, and this is what she is trying to do, as she understands it. It is up to the Alberta's voters to judge her next election, not some internet randos.

It is not wise to reject the idea without any details - at least this can be negotiated, and if some kind of union is to advantage to Canada, then why not? Jingoism is not practical - look at Ukraine for example. The most outrageous thing to me about Trump proposal is that Canada would be one state - it should be at least 4.

That a weird reaction... What history? Nothing to add to the point? What would be bad in economic free trade union? Lots of Canadians I talked to are dreaming of moving to the states, BTW - lower cost of living and higher wages.

I don't think it is forceful - Trump said it would be economic - I guess offering "deal" Canada cannot refuse. I think he is bluffing at this point - clearly this is just in his head. If there is a concrete plan of some EU-style economic union with mostly political autonomy, I think it may be beneficial to Canada - the reality is that Canada cannot prosper without relying on the USA.

I don't think so, people who experienced violence in Winnipeg say the gangsters would use style of hair or anything else to start beating people.

This came up during the trial and judge agreed that it was not hate crime since they did not know the victims were Ukranians before approving them.

There was another attack on Ukranians at "the Forks", were the guys who stubbed them were late heard mocking what they were saying "I am from Ukraine"

I am pretty shocked how violent Winnipeg is. Seeing CBC headlines "Safe in Winnipeg, these Ukrainians still hold out hope for the war at home", and then reading multiple news about these Ukranians falling victims to violent crime makes me wonder if they should have stayed in Poland or Ukraine...

I don't really have an opinion on weather this particular decision is justified - tenant boards are known to usually side with tenants. But, to be fair, setting rent controlled increases to amount less then inflation is not really fair - it creates imbalances, where wealthy tenant maybe paying way less than market rates (like surgeons renting in San Francisco)

Do you propose to start building communism? If not, how exactly this is going to work?
