So you read all of that and you could only muster an emotional response.

I think that says all that needs to be said. You'd rather enable our democracy to be destroyed (and you know, make it harder to do anything about fascism later) and vote in a way that will make you feel a little better about yourself while it goes into the void.

I don't think you were going to vote either way if your head is in the ground like that.

My guess is the company wants a lawyer present because they assume that anyone who is requesting this is probably going to bring one as well.

Basically they don't hire people they would authorize to tell you the reason.

When adblockers don't actually target posts, meaning facebook would have to be the ones doing it.

That's not something that should be argued as "just a clique, why did you show up?". That'd be like saying the Activision/Blizzard scandal in the gaming industry was people who just should've accepted the shitty situation they were in. People should be able to say that an industry they want to be in is acting inappropriately.

The number of people involved in the decisions of companies: many of which do not have any actual reason to care about the livelihood, reputation, or ethics of said company...should make it fairly clear that you cannot assume or perceive a company in the same way you do a person.

It's a business, and it's business is intricately locked into goals that match what Web Integrity API stood for. It may be gone now but everyone needs to watch twice as hard. They'll just try to ease people into the idea more carefully.

I feel there's a good number of people who would just take neither as well though. Yeah, 10m loading is better than intermittent stuttering, but then I better be playing one of the top 10 games of all time if i'm dealing with that.

Why stop at here? They also want to let Russia destroy Ukraine. Both parties are going to support a genocide. Hell isn't Republican supporting both?

Why do we want to accelerate it again? Honestly seems like some Russian "Keep America busy and out of conflicts" plan. I'd rather not vote in a group that will also make it harder to fix anything without a second civil war.
