Older or lower cost product lines have been yes. This will likely expedite more movement there.

I was on Android for years. Galaxy’s and Pixels

Without fail around 1.5 years the battery was almost useless and the usability would slow to a grind and it would get super warm. I had to upgrade often.

Eventually decided to try iPhone. I’m on a 12 pro that I got at launch still. Never used a case or screen protector. Dropped more times than I can count. I’ve even been swimming with it several times by accident. (Twice over an hour before realizing)

Battery life is greater than 80% of its launch life still. The phone still fucking works great, I have zero issues with it. I have saved money by using iPhone because I’m not replacing it all the time.

I LOVE Android for its flexibility and freedom of choice etc. those things can’t be taken away from that platform. But a phone that’s built like a brick shit house that just fucking works? I found that in an iPhone.

One that seems to have fallen out of favor the last few decades with these ultra rich fascist assholes being more prominent all over the globe the last decade or two

The rise of far right politicians and fascists is directly related to the dramatic drop in assassinations of political figures.

The solution? Start murdering fascist and far right politicians that exploit the working class and the environment to add to their already endless coffers. This is the only viable answer.

I have a few small/low power HP machines. I wonder if I could just use that since I already have it on hand.

Most of my devices have all the relevant blocks and filters etc. my iPhone doesn’t and given I’m mostly in a few paid apps it hasn’t really been an issue in the past at all.

I really just wanted to call attention to how sick of an issue this is for someone who might be trying to help themselves.

My desktop and laptop both have adblocks on them amongst other things. But I’ve been doing a lot of this research on my iPhone.

I’ve definitely heard of bars offering free non alcoholic drinks to DD’s but I can’t imagine any trying to get AA coins in exchange for alcohol that’s crazy.

Sometimes they do last long like your phone. But despite it working still your phone hasn’t gotten a security update in over a year and isn’t going to again. Length of support on Android is not great.

The iPhone hate is hilarious to me. I used androids for years. Galaxies and Pixels. Without fail before two years old they were slow hot pieces of shit with terrible battery degradation

I decided to try iPhones. On a 12 pro since release. It just fucking works and battery has remained great. Sure it’s dropped to 80% capacity compared to release. But guess what. When it hits 79 apple will warranty it for me

I’ve spent less on phones since switching to iPhone than I ever did when using android
