  • The game has amazing depth and a steep learning curve. If studying a flight manual for twenty or thirty minutes at a time to learn some real-life subsystem and then trying out whatever you learned in a fully simulated fighter plane sounds like fun to you, then you’re going to have a blast (pun intended).

To me, the biggest draw backs are spending so much time and money (planes and maps are not cheap) immersing yourself in a game that may never run more than 30 FPS and crashes from time to time. There’s also the frustration of being a true “sim”, where you know you put that guided rocket straight down the throat of that SAM launcher, but he’s still alive and shooting because he has 23% health.

    See you in the skies!

  • Iran ships shitty drones to Yemen and they use them against ships in an international shipping lane. This is a shitty PR piece that somehow tries to twist this ignorant play into some kind of amazing axis of power? How fucking dumb. If they are so powerful why doesn’t Iran just launch the drones? We all know the answer.

  • Never a missed opportunity to grind the poor into the dirt, am I right republicans? Oh, but they’ll lobby for billions (with a fucking B) to give away in government subsidies to AT&T and other broadband providers all the while abolishing Net Neutrality.

If you have any illusion to think republicans are helping you at all, look no further than their jaw dropping history in telecom policy.

  • Would really love to but have yet to see basic phone functionality covered in a way that isn’t a painful compromise. Stock Android is a privacy nightmare, which is why I left it. I had some fun with Cyanogenmod back in the day, maybe there’s another de-googled Android distribution around today but since I last checked I couldn’t find one that runs on modern mainstream hardware without really jumping through some crazy hoops to establish root.

  • Funny, they’ll take all the money Russia or China can spend on democracy eroding ads but can’t even be used in those countries without being labeled a terrorist organization. Who the hell with an ounce of moral fiber works for Meta anyways?
