My daughter got the steam deck and she does use it mobile however it has eclipsed the switch as our go to living room family/party/multiplayer console. Family library sharing works very seamlessly in steam.
I am regularly impressed how well PC titles run on it regardless of if they windows running under proton or Linux optimized.
There are also an impressive number of titles that have native or at minimum controller support to the point the onscreen prompts all show the correct buttons. We have a number of Xbox controllers now for up to 4 player multiplayer.
We regularly hook it up to hotel TVs when traveling as well.
Not every male that dresses as a female is transgender, you should respect that. Cross-dressers who do not identify as the gender they dress as but enjoy dressing that way have existed essentially since the dawn of time. Respect your friends preferences.
I would remove them and pair them again. They are 3 separate devices 2 pods and a case. It is possible they can get in a state where one of the items isn’t correctly associated with find my and is treated at not the owners device. This is also important to fix if you ever what to use find my to find the individual parts.
The point of the ports is so you don’t need to have an external dongle. They arnt really there to hot swap but provide the right port always there so they shrewdly shouldn’t wear out and usb is more than fast enough for almost any port type now. I would much rather have a laptop with an Ethernet port and a full size HDMI than one with a single USB c that forces me to also pack a chonky dongle. Would rather just pack the cables .
You can pair switch joycons to a steam deck as Bluetooth controllers, only issue is you need to remember to power them off.
Personally the only strain I found is the joy cons are so damn small, I prefer to current xbox controllers (also Bluetooth) as I find them comfortable even though they are not separate.
We already had both types of controller in our house we just use what ever works best on our Steamdeck at the time.
I think a variation on the multi community might be a good idea but implemented differently.
Community’s could opt into a meta community (somethings that are the same name arn’t the same thing).
Then on the user client side when you subscribe you can choose to subscribe to the meta community. When your feed is constructed it doesn’t include de-federated etc. when you post it is via your instance to the meta community and a shortcut is posted to all the meta community members, and replies go to your meta post in your instance.
Making an improvement for something that can be recycled and thus should REDUCE over time is a a MASSIVE improvement over doing nothing and bitching about it.
This, the all feed is a stream of garbage, porn and spam at times.
