  • Correct. I've purchased other items from Canada, and hockey sticks from other companies in the past. I've just never been charged for duties. With the listed free shipping, it seemed very odd.

  • No sticker. No receipt included in the box. I've ordered sticks from the company before... Although those might have come from China. I have no idea. Seems like they should list that on the site though..

  • It's a fucked up system that Cannon could hold all the cards. The Maggot era has shown how wildly corrupt and immune to oversight our judges are. I'm certain they've been doing monstrous things all along (several judges come to mind) but watching this all take place under the national spotlight has been eye opening.

  • If you're into something different, a weird Canadian comedy kind of thing: Shoresy It's different, and I like different.

Landman would be good if it weren't pushing so much fucking propaganda.

My kids love Gravity Falls, which as an adult I still love.

Someone else mentioned Silo, I agree.

My wife loves Great British Bakeoff. It's an easy background show.

I also enjoyed Bad Monkey. It's kind of a B- show, but easy to watch.

  • There's just so much blind hope in trusting a monopoly to play nice. They exist specifically not to play nice. Nestle is an evil company with ties to child labor, and has been sued for price fixing. So they're hardly an example of a 'good' monopoly.

Even if monopolies magically didn't price gouge us, they're a terrible idea from a strategic standpoint. You're putting all your eggs in one basket. What happens when that company completely screws up? That entire industry is broken. Look at Boeing.

There are so many real world examples of why monopolies are an extremely bad idea that you're either trolling or extremely misinformed.

  • But even the combat hasn't been exciting. I grab a stick, hit a guy, grab another stick, repeat. The combat is just another way the game slows you down. I'll plug away a little longer in hopes of plot or excitement, but thus far pushing up every time I open a new door just seems unnecessary.

  • Maybe start with clearly defined maximum pricing, publicly visible numbers, and strict punishment for denying doctor recommended claims. Also no "out of network". If your hospital accepts insurance, they are in network.

The venn diagram of massive profits and legit health care is just two circles that don't touch.

  • "I became rich, so everyone else can do it to. They're just too lazy."

Lady, people aren't poor because they go out to eat and go to the movies. 1 trip to the hospital costs more than an entire year of that shit.

I loathe the folks that are vastly financially successful and think that same path is possible for everyone. As if the opportunities you're born into and luck aren't very large factors... Also this bitch raised a monster.

  • And when they get deported he won't feel bad. He'll feel like he did what is necessary. These people are too stupid to ever learn from their mistakes.

The article is a bit spoon fed, but I know enough of these idiots to realize it's not a stretch. These people are afraid of everything. He mentions gangs and apocalypses and everything else that could happen.

This idiot keeps a bible in his bug out bag that he carries everywhere (not just in the car, but actually on his person.)... Like you won't be able to find a bible if we suddenly don't have power. $100 says this asshole has never even read the thing.

  • I mean... Yes. They are less evil. Way less evil. It's not even close.

Pelosi is a giant piece of shit, but she doesn't make the top 75% of conservatives.

Also AOC is a goddamn gem. Conservatives have previously zero of those.

Are Democrats anywhere near where I want to be? No. But I can't see how anyone could say they're the same.
